We went on a Wednesday midday and had the entire place to ourselves, which was extra awesome for taking photos. The farm was festive and decorated for Halloween. Prices on the pumpkins vary by size from the u-pick patch. They also have a large variety of speciality pumpkins available for purchase. The main barn had snacks, honey, shirts, hoodies, and hats available for purchase as well. They also have an apple cannon, corn maze, and barrel train which we didn't do this time around, but also looked like fun. Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

The stacked hay bales that were for the children to climb on were very dirty and moldy. The pumpkin prices were very high. The pumpkin fields had so many smashed and rotting pumpkins in them. Will head to one of the pumpkin patches in Snohomish or Mount Vernon next year.

After some research, & even though it's a bit of a drive, I decided to check out Jones Creek Farms. When we arrived there was a small parking lot but luckily, there weren't too many people so we found a spot towards the back. When you walk near the entrance, there is a worker next to a sign that says that all the workers are vaccinated and still choose to wear mask. Big thumbs up for that! In addition, it lists all the apple types and which rows they are in. There was even a section for Asian pears. The worker walked us toward the orchard and explained where we could pick apples (the trees with ribbons on them.) As we walked we realized many of the rows are very long, so I guess you should decide which apples you want unless you don't mind walking a lot (which we didn't mind doing.) There weren't a lot of trees with ribbons, but enough. The orchard was quiet with beautiful scenery of big hills/ mountains nearby. I took some nice photos. However, it was a bit too quiet for me. I like when it's a bit livelier. Apple picking was great, but there was no cute little market store (or at least it wasn't open when we went on a Saturday afternoon,) which I was hoping would be available to peruse. Also, no hayrides, no games, no corn maze, no cider or snacks... just apple/Asian pear or pumpkin picking. The pumpkin patch was small & very cute. The apple prices were decent and we were happy to leave with a small bag. If you would like a quiet peaceful apple picking experience, stop by at Jones Creek Farms!

The staff was also so sweet and informative, the greeted us when we walked in and explained how it worked. $1.50 per pound, 20+ pounds is $1.25 per pound. They also have pumpkins and garlic. We ended up getting garlic, a pumpkin, and 15 pounds if apples for $27.50. Worth the drive from Seattle. It was crowded on a Saturday but the farm is so large it doesn't matter much. Thank you Jones Creek Farms!

This year we got to go on a weekday which was so nice because we missed the crowds :) Ample parking, there's a few overflow lots available and they seem pretty stroller friendly. Bob's has a lawn with tons of pumpkins to choose from, a place to get fresh donuts, a few food stall options, a fudge shop, a country store where you can buy local favorites, a wagon ride, corn maze, and so much more. The free things are the pumpkin lawn and the country store, otherwise everything else is an extra cost for a reasonable price. I love picking up some corn, small pumpkins and honeycrisp apples at the country store and then finding a large carving pumpkin :)

Lots of cars in the parking lots on a weekend, but the farm is big and doesn't feel too crowded. There's lots of pumpkins and a bunch of photo stops. Tried the slides, zip-line, basketball, and the small tractor tow around the dirt course. Was fun. Bob's is known for their large corn maze. The adult maze is on the other side of the road, and you get their by taking the hay ride. More pumpkins and sunflower field on that side too. The maze is pretty big. Took me 20 minutes to walk out following the map. Probably takes 1-2 hours if you don't use the map. As for food, they have mini donuts, cider, burger, pizza, chicken tenders. Tried the mini donuts which were fresh and tasted pretty good. They have pumpkin and apple cinnamon flavors. Overall I enjoyed the experience, as an adult. All the kids there seem to be having a good time. Fall festival tickets not that cheap but most of the other farms charge similarly.

I tried asking the workers, but they didn't have any knowledge about it and then sent me to the front ticket booth. Let me tell you, trying to figure what was going on was a Kafkaesque nightmare. I crashed at least three other gatherings as I was being directed from one place to another. Whoops. Anyways, I finally found my group and we picked apples. I like how they had labels on each row of trees to identify the cultivar. It also turns out that they put a few crabapples in each row for pollination purposes, but they're very obviously not to be picked as the fruits are small. Apples were $3.50/lb, but slightly cheaper if you buy them pre-picked. The fresh apples taste much better than the ones in grocery stores, which can be stored for up to a year in warehouses. I was surprised to find the fresh apples were more crisp with thinner skin! I got a cider doughnut before I left, and it was so soft, tender, and pillowy! There was great apple flavor.

Glow is the finest, grandest, and most immersive Christmas celebration available. A complete wonderland throughout. Glow truly knows how to do the holidays right! They went all out this year! This year they took it even further: bigger glow, brighter magic, and the full holiday spirit. If you want big Christmas vibes then this is it! Every corner was dressed in holiday magic - twinkling lights, festive music, and pure Christmas vibes everywhere you turned. It was one of those perfect nights to be out walking, laughing, and just soaking it all in. From the moment I entered, the atmosphere pulled me in: bright lights, loud music, and the smell of hot chocolate drifting through the cold night air. It's the kind of place where even adults forget they're adults for a moment. The live music, the festive activities, the holiday characters, the Crystal Ice Palace--each element contributed to the sense of stepping into a winter festival built to entertain. Glow is pure festive magic! Just an unbelievable light display... just fantastic!... you have to see it to believe it!... and the art and talent that's put into this is out of this world! The displays were bold, vibrant, and full of magic -- every turn felt like something new to look at. It is, without a doubt, the most Instagrammable spot in the city during December. The light displays are beautifully crafted, creating a magical atmosphere that truly captures the festive spirit. You can definitely see the dedication and hard work throughout Glow. There is also a live concert, food trucks, a market section sponsored by other businesses, and an indoor train ride, which I had the pleasure of riding in. I highly recommend going to the Glow Gardens before Christmas is over.
