    Schuh Farms barn!

This place is extra amazing around Halloween offering entertainment for kids and family fun! This year they had an inflatable pumpkin, tractor rides, maze and pumpkin picks farms and farm animals. They have a huge selection of sweet treats and gift shop type offerings that are too cute to pass up. You can still enjoy their baked good, excellent coffee and seasonal produce throughout the year. And don't get me started on their pies!!!! You can call and order them ahead!

Quaint little farm shack on the road. Up front they make fresh berry shakes and sell their delicious baked goods. Inside you can get fresh produce, local cheese, fresh baked goods and pies. The staff is extremely friendly and allowed us to see their chickens and goats. The lemon blueberry scones are worth a trip everyday to visit.

OMG how have I lived in this area as long as I have and have never heard of Schuh Farms?! I'm in love with this place and can hardly wait for another Skagit Valley road trip and a chance to stop by again. The place is cute, as in adorable, as in a picturesque farm setting with a postcard-worthy barn (and plenty of parking). There's even a food truck out front that sells really good shakes. Inside, Schuh is bursting with fresh fruits and veggies - including local berries and other produce. I bought a bunch of vegetables that look like they'd just been picked, including corn (which was a great deal at 4/$1). They even had a little spot to shuck your corn on the spot. How handy!

    Pumpkins galore!

Such a great experience we had here. The staff was so friendly and kind. My family came on a weekday so it was quite slow and it was nice. I heard there are more activities on the weekend but today we experiences plenty. There was a little farm to see with chickens ( you can feed them corn for a quarter), pigs, cows, goats and a rabbit. There is almost a friendly dog walking around. There is a yellow brick road behind the grocery store that leads to a play area with a slide for the kids. There are many photo opportunities with pumpkins, pumpkin patches and Halloween decorations. The grocery store sells their own fruits, veggies, eggs, jams/spreads and much much more. I left with a butternut squash and some of their eggs and apples. I would absolutely recommend this farm to visit. It was such a great experience for my family and if I didn't purchase anything at the grocery store it would of been free! I felt like I should purchase something because establishments like this are a gem to our community.

Loved our experience at Schuh Farms this year. We visited for the first time to get our fall pumpkins. The place is adorable, easy to find and they have great prices. You are able to pick your own, they have a great selection of not only the regular run of the mill carving pumpkins but also a wide variety of different more decorative ones as well. We ended up purchasing many because the prices were so great. Inside is a cute shop where I purchased some cookies and a bouquet of dahlias as well. We ended up buying a 45 lb pumpkin, a 25 lb and multiple smaller pumpkins plus cookies and flowers for under $35! They also have plenty of cute fall children's activities going on to keep kiddos occupied and entertained. We will be using Schuh Farms for our future pumpkin patch needs.

Saw sign for 1/2 flats for $13. Stopped in and bought. I Had to throw away almost 2 pints- moldy, squishy, not edible. The ones that were good are almost past prime. Very disappointed.

We passed by this farm to get produce and we ended up getting this tayberry jam and apple cider as well.

Perhaps she sensed that I was interested in feeding my 20-month old son, Logan, something other than fried seafood. Everyone was great - like I was a regular who visited every day. They treated everyone like that, just genuinely friendly, kind and efficient. Oh, and in case you're wondering, I think that the tourists were out numbered by locals. I was a bit dismayed at the $8.95 sandwich price, but it was good sized for that price, and hey, it IS a tourist town. I had the Market Philly on the recommendation of a resident, and it was awesome. The meat was thin and fresh, and the onions & peppers (green, red and yellow) weren't greasy. They were nicely caramelized and all the juices soaked in to the bread without being too soggy. Bread I say because it wasn't a standard issue hoagie roll, it was more like a fresh baked bread in a flattened hoagie roll shape. I also had the "award winning" prawn chowder. It was good, more fresh vegetables, a few shrimp, and a strangely addictive and spicy base. Most impressive was that my son LOVED the soup. Or in his broken language "mmm. shoup. good. shoup. more! like it." He's never described is like of any food before, and he ate 90% of my bowl. I'd definitely go next time I'm La Conner for a quick lunch.

Isn't a half salad/sandwich combo supposed to be like only 5 buck or something, the idea of ordering the half is to save money. However, that was obviously not the case. Then when I got my food, there was only a small sliver of turkey on my sandwich, and my dad's side of potato salad... came in a freakin CONDIMENT CUP! .... you know, when you ask for a side of ketchup... yeah, his potato salad was in there... about a whole ounce worth! Anyways, very angry when we left. Will not go back. EVER NEVER EVER EVER!! Long story short, too pricey for not enough product. Do yourself and favor and bypass this money stealer.

This co-op in Skagit is filled with healthy alternatives, fresh produce, and even a juice/coffee/snack bar serving up some delicious bites. I also loved that the co-op's second story is filled with the most unique home and gift items you'll find. Everything is sustainable first, and they even have a decent book selection. We had ordered two pineapple conchas from the dessert case for a post-lunch dessert. The veggies on the sandwich were so fresh it hit the spot for a light midafternoon meal. There is an upstairs seating area, it's really quiet and private. After we ate our lunch, we looked at some trinkets in the gift shop that's upstairs too. It truly has it all!
