After reaching out to countless real estate agents and relators in my area and never receiving responses, I was driving to work when I saw a sign outside a house that caught my attention. The minute I got to work, I googled the name and saw reviews for Barbara and how wonderful she was to work with new home buyers. I sent a quick (overly-detailed) email and I received an email back in no less than 1 hour from Barbara where we were then scheduled for a phone call later that evening. After a brief phone call that night, I was beyond thrilled to have her on our team. She was patient, answered all my questions and really got to know myself and husband as people and a couple which was great. She talked us briefly through the process and what to expect while being very honest, but never once making us feel out of our league. One thing I have learned is your real estate agent needs to be one of your best friends when you're going through this process. We spent countless weekends out and about. Almost every Saturday and Sunday and sometimes week days, depending on the listing. I swear, Barbara worked all hours as if we were her only client with over a million dollar budget (which is not the case!). Every question (no matter how many times asked) was always answered. She was available via text, phone or email anytime of day. And if she didn't hear from me- she would follow up just to check-in. Whether it was a house 5 minutes away, or 1.5 hours, she was on it. It was so easy and effortless to be with Barbara everyday and communicate as she's so relatable. I genuinely looked forward to her phone calls and emails everyday as I always got a good laugh! We always joked around and I never felt like I was bothering her, or creating more work. You completely forget you're a client when you team up with Barbara. She put so much of my anxiety about this process at ease and made a lot of what should be stressful and chaotic- enjoyable. Even in this market! She always kept our hopes up when we would feel down and reminded us that the house would find us. And here we are! We began looking in March of 2023, and our offer was just accepted on a house about a week ago, and all thanks to Barbara. In fact, this house we're in the process of purchasing wouldn't have even been on our radar without Barbara! Not only does she work hard to make your terms and conditions stand out above the others, but she worked with our lender directly in regards to offers as well, making us feel like we had the best team out there. She knows her stuff, knows her recommendations and works diligently. We're not done yet; but I've been so impressed by Barbara's expertise, relatable manner and non-stop work ethic for us that I couldn't help but pop in and leave a note of my experience even before closing- in case anyone else out there is currently looking with the same anxiety or nervousness I originally was. As we speak, I know she's making calls for reports and information on this future house for us while I get to take a breath and just enjoy the excitement of buying our first home! I'll update once we're all finished, but for anyone out there looking- look no further. Thank you Barbara (& Larry)!

Seriously these scavengers were swooping down upon us even before any paperwork had been completed or made official. It's clear that the MO is to try to catch people who are grieving and not thinking clearly so they can make a grab for the estate and property. People in my family were harassed via calls and received loads of mail with false sympathy segueing quickly into a sales pitch. It was astounding how quickly they got our personal information had the nerve to call. These people at Halstead property are among those vultures searching for death and preying upon the grief stricken. They get a gold star for callousness by having the gall to send emails (hate to think how they got that info) following a phone call where they were told the contact was inappropriate and unwanted. Reprehensible and cruel.

She assisted my family with the sale of my mother's home in 2011 as we were dealing with my mother's deteriorating health. This time was even more challenging as my sister and I had been living out of state for over 15 years, and were unfamiliar with how to manage the sale process. We truly did not even know where to start. Nareema was also referred to me by my mother's next door neighbor who had also worked with her during the sale of his home. He had also referred her to five of his family members who also sold properties in the northeast Bronx. As it happens, my mother was already familiar with Nareema, and comfortable with her because of conversations that they had in the neighborhood years before, totally unrelated to real estate (my mother's house on Gunther Avenue was in close proximity to Nareema's office). My mom would often speak of how nice Nareema was when we visited. During the listing and sale process, we always felt safe with Nareema as she guided us, and walked us through every step of the process. She was able to connect us with the right professionals who could assist us with the inevitable things that became a part of the process, including movers, electricians, and Steve Lovitch, who served as our attorney at closing. Most notably, Nareema created a personal connection with us that always made us feel that we were her top priority. She was always available to answer our questions (out of state, and at any time we needed her!) We received a competitive price for the property, and Nareema's efforts made a very tough time in our lives so much easier. Nareema's great character is also evidenced in the fact that she has remained in touch with us in North Carolina in the years following our business relationship. She earned our trust and respect, and I am happy to give her my highest endorsement. You will be in good hands when you work with her! Andria Knight Durham, North Carolina

Manj and the Weichert team stood out as the best that Northern, New Jersey had to offer: their rankings are excellent, their social media and marketing reach was strong, and I could tell the type of commitment they would dedicate to selling my home. Manj spent hours answering my questions, providing market data, and building a strategy to address the comps in the area. I was concerned that my house would be hard to sell given the hundreds of similar homes in the neighborhood. However, Manj made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't (but should), like having professional photographs and video taken, and a lot more. When i saw the listing I was blown away. His hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - the listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition. The second buyer that saw the property submitted an offer. The house went under contract 2 days after we put it on the market at the asking price. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. I've recommended Manj and the Weichert Real Estate Team to everyone I know. He's a true professional and a genuinely nice guy. I realize it won't always be this easy to sell your home, but I think it will be almost impossible to find a more dedicated, knowledgeable and professional Realtor.

Steve Reger has several lawsuits against him, some from old contractors he never paid, some from investors that he stole money from, even from building supply stores he never paid.
