1 Star -- Worst Experience Ever at Thomas Tire & Automotive (Southern Pines/Aberdeen)…read more This has been my third time coming back to this shop for the same problem, and I'm beyond done with their carelessness and lack of professionalism. First visit: I paid for an alignment and balance, but my truck still shook around 40 mph and the steering wheel was off-center. Second visit: I came back to have them redo it, but they said it was "too late in the day" and refused to do the alignment. Third visit (today): I brought it back again hoping they'd finally make it right. Instead, they took my truck for a drive without even asking my permission, and when they came back, there was a strong burnt brake smell. I quickly realized they had driven it with the parking brake still engaged. When I confronted the tech, he said my brakes were sticking -- which is completely false because the truck has brand new calipers and pads installed professionally. I told him the smell was clearly from the rear because the e-brake was left on, and he literally said, "It doesn't matter." That comment alone tells you everything about how little care they have for customers' vehicles. After all that, my alignment is still off, my truck still shakes at 40 mph, and my steering wheel is still crooked. I've now wasted three trips, time, and gas, and they still couldn't do the job right. I'll never bring my truck back here again, and I strongly recommend others avoid this location. Completely unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful.

The Grooms man had a evil look on his face as he was showing his helper my new tires and I read his lips he said wouldn't buy from us. 2 week later front tire went flat down to the wire. Brought it back to them with my alignment reciept. Bought to more tire from them this time. He aligned it again and stated the alignment did not even line up on his machine. When I git my bill WOW charged me again for the front end alignment, tires, balancing and putting on tires and would not even give a little discount since he missed up the first time. So today I go back a year later and they checked my tire pressure for me the front left tire was a little low. Right front and both back tires checked out good.
