Visited our nephew, and he wanted pizza. We ordered from this location since it was his favorite. Was hesitant on it since a week prior we were in Loveland for a wedding, and ordered Blackjack there. Wasn't impressed at all. Not very good. BUT, this place was really good. We were ordered pick up, and the staff there was incredible. Great customer service, friendly. They took pride in handing over their pizza to me. I can see why, when I got home the pizza was fantastic. Nice crunch on the dough. Nice amount of cheese and toppings. I would give them a solid 4.5. I would definitely order from there again. Which we did a few days later. lol. read more

Ordered a thin crust pizza. Worst I've ever had. First of all it was 25 minutes late and my thin crust was discussing. Soggy crust. Overcooked ground beef. Wholly disappointing meal. Delivery so no ambiance. read more

Pretty odd location but it works. You can actually dine in and chill which is awesome. You don't often see this at this local chain. Its nice to be able to sit down and relax maybe have a slice. They don't have a soda fountain so dont expect to sit down and have a full meal with a drink its just a nice waiting area. It includes a arcade cabinet which is a nice touch. Never have had bad food from here just bangers. They do seem understaffed as two people were working the whole kitchen which sucks because they will take a phone call over someone standing there. This is where I bring it down two stars. If I drove to this location to order or pick up, I should never have to wait for a phone call to end. A person who is standing there should always have priority. It's screwed up I can stand there in line and call and pass the line. If you want a 5 star understand a physical customer always should be priority. read more

I live 1/2 mile down the street. love the quick service and taste. Always friendly And on time for pick up.

Welp, just picked up a takeout order and the employee behind the counter said, "Thanks for the stiff", twice to make sure I heard it, because I didn't tip. didn't realize tipping on takeout was expected to that extent. read more

Leaving a review of Blackjack Pizza on South Garrison Street on Tuesday November 19, 2024 .. called in an order for pizza and wings to be picked up , arrived to pick up my order after the time period I was told to come , paid for my order waited at the counter for another 20 minutes only to be told that my order had not been prepared .. terrible service , finally got a refund from a manager who came in from a delivery that had no idea what was going on .. will not ever go to this Blackjack Pizza again, nor will my family , they have lost a lot of business and unfortunately they don't care and they made that very clear that they don't .. would not recommend this restaurant to anyone else .. there are plenty of other pizza places in the Lakewood area take your business there .. read more

TL;DR: I have found a gem, lemme tell ya. Firstly, I don't understand why this business has anything less than 5 stars. My experience was great. Some of the reviews I read were about their delivery service which I cannot speak on. What I can speak on is their online ordering, takeout process, and food as a whole! I was craving some pizza and happened upon this gem of a location. Never heard of it before, but why not try! I had chosen to order online through their website. Was easy enough to pick out what I wanted and have my order confirmation within minutes. Time to wait for some great food. Once I got there, I went in and tried to retrieve my order. I realized I was a little bit before the promised time that they said it would be done, so I waited a little bit and BAM! Like clockwork, my name was called almost exactly when it was supposed to be ready. Wonderful. Grabbed it and headed home! Now on to the food: I had ordered a custom pizza from their online menu. It looked like none of their pre-selected options were vegetarian so I tried to create my own. This was easy and ended up choosing a large square pan pizza with toppings of spicy ranch, mozzarella, and pineapple. Let me tell you, I AM SO GLAD I PICKED THESE! The pizza as a whole was wonderful. The spicy ranch was basically the icing on the cake and made the pizza just that much better. GET IT FOR SURE! I had ordered this pizza for just one person and have had leftovers since the first day. Each time, still just as good. Not to mention that ordering this large square pan was relatively inexpensive! I'm so glad I found this place. Will for sure, hopefully, be going back! read more

For starters the delivery person left my pizza at someone else's door. In this day and age are you kidding me? Person assisting me on the phone was speaking to the driver and the driver says "Oh yeah I left that at unit 120", the order had 122 on it. I cannot wrap my brain around that. Then, I guess this was the manager I was talking to asks me if I would like him to make another pizza for me, again, are you kidding me? You should tell me " Sir I'm making you a fresh pizza and will have it correctly delivered to you ASAP! So, I tip more than 20% and spend $35.00 on a pizza and I'm left feeling like I've done something wrong. Second pizza was sub par at best. Getting real tired of businesses that do not appreciate my money1 read more

ZERO stars. Ordered on my app, noted the time I should expect delivery. Didn't get it. Called the store and was told "it's on the road." Okay, cool. Ten minutes later (they're like 3 miles from my house) I called back to inquire as to the status of my order ... was called "rude" and also told to "never call here again." And BTW certainly never got my $45 order. read more

We ordered take out from here about a week ago and they were super quick! The price was crazy good for how much food we got. Definitely will be going here again. read more

I sat waiting for a pizza for like ten minutes and the staff has A+ banter. Would come back for that alone!

Pizza was great,so underrated. Wings were a little saucy but still good. Pizza actually better than most fast food pizza

Horrible! I called to order pizza for delivery at 8:00 sat night. Nope!! Can't do that.... my guy has 7 deliveries to make ...... it'll be 10:30 before I can get it to you. OK.... I'll order and come pick it up. Nope..... we're really busy, not sure how soon I can get to you. Then why are you answering the phone??? Place is a mess.... even to the most casual observer. Went to Dominos..... easy order.... helpful attendant....delivered in 1/2 hr. Tipped the driver $10. read more

Wow what a let down. I tried BJ pizza for the first time last night. Sorry I wasted 35 bucks. The delivery was pretty fast. The pizza was hot but it had a metallic after taste like the sauce came from a can. Won't make that mistake again. read more

I absolutely want to give a BIG FAT GOOSE EGG, but I am forced to a single star! First time we ordered, the pizza was card board! Second time we ordered, I accidentally processed it as a pickup and immediately (within 10 seconds) called them to tell them my mistake. Instead of fixing my order, the jerk on the phone YELLED at his pizza maker to stop making the order and hung up on me! Better to order from some rank national chain, and get 2 pizzas for the same price! read more

I placed an online order for delivery. After an extended period of time with no delivery, I called the store to be told I placed a web pick up order. I did not. I placed a delivery order and added a 20% tip for delivery. To double check myself, I even used Blackjack's feature to repeat my last order to check how the order was placed and it showed "delivery". Called the store, spoke to the manager and was refused a refund. Called repeatedly and staff refused to take the call, disconnecting calls without answering. I have been doing business with this store for many years, placing an order nearly every week. My daughter even worked there at one time. I wonder which employee pocketed the 20% tip? The manager? Dishonest, rude and poor customer service. I consider this to be theft and will dispute the charges. read more

Worst customer service ever. We used to order from here once a week for 8 years. Will never order from here again. So disrespectful.

Pizza has been excellent and delivery orders have been quick! You can even schedule delivery for later!

Ordered online. Super simple. Order was ready when I got there. But when I got home I notice they gave me the wrong pizza. I picked off the toppings I didn't want but let this be a lesson. Check the pizza before leaving the store. read more

Pizza was just like we ordered! Delivered earlier than expected too. We will be back for more!

That was THE best take out salad I've ever had. Michigan Cherry BOMBdiggidy, loaded up, with Balsamic. Also got large Memphis Chx pizza and med sausage/mushroom/red onion, both hand tossed ...so good. VERY underrated. Delivery under time. Good stuff ...keep up the great work. read more

UPDATE!!!!! See Bottom! The "owner" contacted me The pizza is good. The delivery man trying to shadily steal from you sucks. Even if it's just $2, imagine that times the 200 people he delivers to each night. I had a $2 off post card, which clearly says on it "Hand to driver and they will take $2 off your order." He tried to tell me it was "already taken off" and I should go ahead and tip him and pay too! Of course, it wasn't. I'd placed the order online, and he didn't know about the coupon until I handed it to him. I took back my coupon and wrote the company, but still... Shady, Shady, SHADY! UPDATE!!! The "manager" got back to me (with the most unprofessional email ever... it is laughable and offensive!) And accused ME! He called ME a LIAR, AND sent me MULTIPLE emails with obnoxious language. How amusing. He also said that the are "not obligated" to honor corporate coupons, said he'd "just take it out of the driver's tip," and told me to TEAR UP my coupons. He has also gone into my credit card records, and changed the amount I was charged, which I believe is fraud, or at the very least, against Visa's terms of use. Also, when I asked for his full name and corporate's address, he gave me a local phone number, and no name. This guy is SHADY! Stay far, far away. And NEVER give them your credit card number! read more

One of my go to pizza spots for years and years. They offer salads and calzones too. Maybe a bit under rated, I always am happy with the quality of food I get. Oh but don't get the wings. Everything else is great! read more

The sauce tastes funky! The first few bites of our pepperoni and green bell pepper pizza tasted fine, but after those first few bites, the whole experience tends to go downhill. I couldn't pinpoint what it was that tasted weird, then finally it came to me. Overall, the pizza is alright, except the sauce is bad. . Really bad, actually. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again. That, and on their website it says you can order "hot peppers" but apparently they don't have them.. or maybe they just didn't have them tonight.. I don't know. It just wasn't good. read more

I've been trying to order a pizza for delivery and your app gives me an error about google not being able to locate by address. Surprisingly really good pizza. Great flavor. Nice and crispy crust, lots of toppings. Great sauce flavor. Huge side of breadsticks for about 2.50. I'm a huge fan of close by Nicolos, but I think I might actually like blackjack a bit better. Won't hesitate to order from here again. read more

I've had nothing but good experiences here. Cheap and good pizza near my house, and always friendly when I go pick it up. Whenever my friends are in from out of town and I don't feel like cooking for everyone we order takeout from here and it's always a hit. I've had the Caesar salad a few times from here and although it's not perfect, it's a lot of good salad for not very much. read more

I have fond memories of Blackjack from my youth. Maybe it is because this was the pizza served in my High School, or maybe its because this is what I used to eat at sporting events, I don't know. I don't get to eat this chain much, because it is nowhere near Vegas. However, on the off chance that I am at my parent's house, and the wife and I are craving cheap, quick delivery pizza, we con my parents into Blackjack. Honestly, my folks hate this place. I, however, appreciate the tangy sauce, amazing thin crust and fresh ingredients. I also really appreciate the inexpensive nature of the pie. I last enjoyed Blackjack on my last visit to the metro area in late May 2010. The wife and I had just gotten back from a train ride to Glenwood Springs. We were hungry, and when my dad picked us up at Union Station I decided to call Blackjack. We got three large pizzas, 2 thin crust, one deep dish. We had assorted veggies and a meat pizza for my brother and dad. When we arrived to pick up the pizza, it was hot and fresh. A plus was they got the order right which doesn't happen as often as it should these days. The best part is that 3 pizzas was under $20. I really don't remember the last time I paid that little for 3 pizzas...Well Blackjack our rendezvous' may be few and years a part, but they are always nice...until next time.... read more
