Our entire experience buying our new living room furniture from them was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The salesman Michael was extremely helpful, he listened to what we had in mind and was very mindful of our desires and steered us in the right direction. We also want to give a shout out to the delivery team of Jeff and Jeramiah!! Super friendly and helpful! Took the time to properly set up our new set and even stayed extra to rearrange the furniture to our liking. These two went over and beyond to help us with friendly advice and ideas!! I purchased a washing machine and dryer from Blackers in March and it was delivered and installed the first week of April. I paid them to deliver and install the machines. In installing the washing machine, the installer removed and failed to reinsert the hose from the water softener to the drain where the washer hose goes. When my water softener recharged, it flooded my basement. The professionals who assessed and repaired this assured me this is what happened. I spoke with the manager at Blackers regarding the problem. He denied any responsibility and was very rude and dismissive. I really wanted to give Blackers the benefit of the doubt. I gave them nearly 6 months to replace a seat to my very expensive leather reclining sofa when some stitching came loose on it. We Purchased the extended warranty and the stitching came loose within about 4 months. I am still waiting and they don't seem too concerned about it when I call. They just say they haven't heard anything. I wont be purchasing from them again. read more

We purchased a lift chair for our mother who was moving into an assisted living community. We bought the chair on a Friday, moved it to the community on that same Saturday, she passed away that Monday, 3 days after the purchase. Never sat in and tags still attached to the chair. We inquired about a refund to our credit card, and were denied and was offered an in store credit. We again called and asked upper management/owners this time to reconsider. HOW IS A DECEASED WOMAN SUPPOSED TO SPEND IN STORE CREDIT??? Once again we were denied and told it was in store credit only. It is a shame that business owners and operators don't value customers enough, to deny such a simple request, especially considering the circumstances and that the chair had NEVER been sat in and still had the tags attached. The furniture I have Received was damaged.'! I got in contact with the store and they sent out a representative to look at the issues. I was told that two of my items would need replacement. A headboard and a chest, They let me know the replacements had Been ordered. Now fast forward 11 weeks, the replacements arrived with just as much damage as my original ones. I declined the replacements. I called the store and was given attitude! I just want this made right. I would really appreciate having replacements that don't have damage! Don't buy anything here-still waiting for my couch that I ordered 10 months ago I know it's covid and all but this is crazy stupid

I have never seen such poor customer service. Our salesman was working very hard to not sell us a stove. We asked if they could order a stove and was told no because I can't tell you when it will be delivered. We asked if they deliver to Wyoming and he said yes but you don't want us to. Then we had to ask for something to cover the stove with while we transported. If our current stove was working I would have passed on this place all day long. read more

We special ordered a beautiful sofa, love seat combo that are electrical reclining. It took almost 2 months for the couches to arrive, which we were patient with. Two weeks after having these couches in our living room, a recliner on one side of our love seat quit working. About 2 weeks later the other switch on the love seat went out. I called them and they worked with me and sent a technician out to my house. Both switches on the love seat were replaced free of charge, as they should have been. Then, a switch on the sofa went out and we couldn't decline. I called again and they again sent a technician out and this switch was replaced. And finally, the fourth switch stopped working, making all of them now being replaced. I thought all was well now as we hadn't had any issues with the replaced switches. Then, 2 replaced switches stopped working so I called to talk with a manager. I told the manager my preference was to just return the sofa and love seat and start over, but to my surprise, the manager began accusing me and my family of being "too rough on the switches." I told him assuredly that me and my family are no harder on these switches than any other family across the country would be. He then questioned my integrity and said that what I was reporting couldn't be the case because this company, Best, was highly reputable and they make a good product. I told him I am highly reputable and what I was reporting is the truth. This manager continued to question my integrity, the integrity of my wife and daughters and continued to blame us for the poor performance of these (switches) couches. I suggested that we return these for in-store credit and start over and then he said "we're not going to be able to turn around and sell those as new." I told him that wasn't my problem. He continued his accusations and was rude and disrespectful. The phone call ended with the manager saying "I don't know what to tell you, I'll check with the manufacturer and see what we can do. This manager was inappropriate, unprofessional, immature, rude, and 100% not workable. We spent $3,000 on our couches and now wish we would have just went somewhere else or just bought a non-electrical reclining sofa and love seat for about a third the price. My advise and two cents, please don't go to Blacker's. The furniture is no better quality than other businesses like Wayfair, Overstock.com, or maybe even Big Lots. And, don't go to Blacker's because once a salesman (I have no issue with our salesman) sells you an item, if there is an issue, you get referred to the manager whose stand out qualities I have mentioned above. Very disappointing Update #2.... So, Luke is the man!!! By far the hardest working, supportive of customers, staff member at Blacker's. He single handedly took on issue and did all the leg work. He was the one who took the time to call the manufacturer for me and I don't even think this is his usual responsibility. He ended up replacing all the transformers in my electric reclining sofas and I wanted some time to go by to make sure that this was the big fix. No problems since he replaced the transformers. purchased a couch at blackers' last saturday; it was delivered on mon. on Wed, it went on sale for 25% off. when i called the owner of the business, i was told that if i had bought it on tuesday, he would have been able to work with me...and that I liked the cough enough to pay full price!!!!
