I highly suggest you ask for a in water demonstration, it would be like buying a car without a test drive. I also recommend having an independent marine repair facility to complete an inspection before you buy. These run around $300 but can save you $1000's. Andrew did a great job coordinating with me to have the boat where I needed it when I needed it there. I would do business here again. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because of a document fee that I didn't agree with but due to how flexible and accommodating Andrew was it's not big deal.

It was way too small in all respects. I returned it and over six months later after repeated promises to make necessary repairs nothing. I asked for a refund and they just keep promising to fix it. They then were nice enough to cut the gear off of the sail for us, that way we could re-use it. Where Banks gets the biggest star deductions is for the work they did on a sail cover for our catamaran. Even their own guys who put the cover on the boat acknowledged that: * They normally measure for new sail covers, rather than re-making a nearly identical bag that ultimately didn't fit very well. * They normally put two zippers on the front of the cover, that way there is not flapping cloth while the sail is up. They only put one zipper on our cover. * The straps they put on were basically useless, due to the length. Lastly, the sails the cleaned could have been cleaner and they did not ask what color we wanted for the sun cover they re-did on our jib. We would have had it match our sail cover if they would have asked. Due to Banks' lack of foresight and in some instances to even lacking common sense on behalf of the customer, I am giving Banks Sails 3-stars.
