They were really stacked on top of each other. In spite of there being shrubs between the sites, it basically felt like we were sharing a site with all of our neighbors. There was barely anywhere to pitch a tent, and the small spaces that were available were very difficult to drive even my best tent stakes into. But we managed. The bathrooms were just a short walk away, and were decently clean. The showers were decent and free. There was a small seating area near one of the camp hosts sites with wifi access where you can sit and charge your electronics and use the internet for up to 15 minutes at a time. The Hobbit Trail and Heceta Lighthouse trail are both within a few miles. I woke up before my cousin and took the short half mile trail down to the ocean by myself. When I came back, I watched a chipmunk climb the shrubs, pick berries, and eat them sitting on the leaves. It was so cute. Overall the location can't be beat. The sites are really tiny, but in a pinch, I would stay here again.
