I made the deposit before I got the contract emailed to me for my signature because I trusted Phil which was the wrong thing to do something I won't do again.

As I understand it, the colors that were promised in the flowers, and table arrangements, and the bouquets were not the colors of the wedding, and had to be remade at the last minute the morning of the wedding! Very stressful For the bride! I do not feel these details were unreasonable, and the wedding coordinator should have taken care of these details at minimum.

When we met face to face Paul took the time to explain the whole process and how to select all our own music through his online system - very cool. One of my biggest pet peeves is not being able to understand someone on a microphone. I told Paul I was hard of hearing, and all night long he spoke clearly. I was so impressed that he cared. He listened to the Bride and Groom's heart and really cared about their wishes from the opening of the ceremony to the last dance. I found One Love Events on Yelp while searching for wedding coordinators. And, let me just say, if you are getting married you NEED a "day of" wedding coordinator. My husband was skeptical about hiring a wedding coordinator, but even he was completely onboard after meeting with Delina and Whitney. Who's going to put out your decorations while you're getting your hair/makeup done with bridal party? Who is going to queue the music or musicians? Who is going to sit at the venue for hours and receive all the vendors, because someone has to be there (flowers, caterers, cake, etc)? If you're like me, your family and friends are going to be in your wedding and logistically you need them in other places. Also, who is going to pack up all of your gifts, decorations, food/cake at the end of the night and put it in someone's car for you? Believe me, you don't want your friends and family stuck with these tasks when they could be enjoying your wedding with you. One Love Event staff handled all of this us! I admit I was a little nervous contacting One Love Events at first because they did not have any "Yelp recommended" reviews. But, let me just say, they were completely legit and professional. Delina and Whitney have been doing this for years. We hired them just for "day of" wedding coordinator services, but we got more than just "day of" services. We had pre-wedding meetings, calls/texts, and just a lot of communication before the wedding. I think they sent us vendor recommendations and a checklist too. Plus, Delina helped run the rehearsal the night before the wedding and collected all the wedding decorations. Also, if you're worried a wedding coordinator will cost a fortune, you're not alone. My husband and I paid for everything ourselves and wanted the most for our money. I called another 5 Star rated wedding coordinator company here on Yelp and I think they quoted like $3,000-$5,000 for only one staff member. Crazy. Due to her lack of information and not telling us they apparently have a second parking lot, how were we to know there was additional parking elsewhere other than the one small lot we saw when we pulled in? 4) Regarding the head table. During our tour she told us that's where they put the head table. There was no comment about it being able to be elsewhere. Music is a big deal for my wife and I and we had a 4hr dance floor, so we were extremely picky when selecting a DJ. We turned down all three DJ's we met at our wedding venue vendor day, but when we met Kaivan we immediately knew he'd be the perfect fit for us on the biggest day of our life. Kaivan has an unbelievably in-depth music knowledge. He's incredibly talented at mixing old beloved genres with current music and he has a an impeccable feel for the dance floor and for timing what to play next. He also allows his clients to truly share their musical tastes with him, so he's consistently playing what you want. Kaivan creates joint Spotify and SoundCloud (if preferred) playlists so you can continuously add songs and show Kaivan the style of music you truly love. But above all else, Kaivan is just the nicest and most genuine guy. For us, it was extremely important to have someone we felt comfortable with and trusted to run our entire operation. It was our wedding, so he actually MC'd the entire thing, as well as provided the equipment for the ceremony, speeches, etc.. but regardless of the event Kaivan overcommunicates with you and will make sure you are feeling taken care of.
