In short, the delicacies at this pastry shop look A LOT better than they taste. The presentation and look of the pastries are downright beautiful and elegant. But the taste was extremely underwhelming. We tried the signature watermelon cake, which was refreshing because of the crisp watermelon. The fruits on both cakes were however very sweet and fresh. But then again, we would have been better off just eating fresh fruits alone for half the cost.

I feel that the popularity of this cafe is solely due to the fad of the watermelon cake due to its uniqueness and presentation, for which such a trend will soon dissipate. read more
