I was still about 30 min away from his location, so he didn't move straight away to "let me tow you" method . INSTEAD, he gave me some advice to see if I could eliminate any kind of auxiliary help. When I Did the research and advice, I was able to start our truck up (go me! And YouTube!) and drive the truck their way. He asked his mechanic to stay late (on a Saturday in a small town) to double check our diagnostics. Needless to say, I made it back to my home in SLC after a successful trip out of town. We got off on exit 6 and limped to an RV place that it turned out could not fix it because they didn't work on big vehicles. We called AAA and they said they'd send somebody out but it would take a little bit. By 6 o'clock Saturday morning no one came so we called AAA again. AAA again was going to send somebody out but as it turns out no one would come out and tow us. This is a tiny town so most places are closed on the weekend. Monday morning we started again bright and early calling around and working with AAA. Neither AAA nor us could find anyone to come tow us and I was starting to think this is how you become homeless. I mean there's no car rentals and there's no way to get out of here. AAA was calling all around for us and found Robertsons towing. I have to say everyone we met in this town was beyond nice and although this towing and repair company does not work on RVs they agreed to tow us to Cummings in SLC and AAA is taking care of it. The driver arrived within 30 minutes and even took a look at our air brakes but I think the problem is complicated and more involved. They have a mobile repair service and also a big shop for bigger problems as I was reading on the internet. They are a family owned business which I support 100%. Such was our evening on the way to Moab when we stopped in Price for some gas. We locked the keys in the car right at the pump! This was 9:30 pm. The Chevron clerk gave us the number for Helper Towing and we called to get the ball rolling. Then I called AAA to file a claim. The truck showed up within probably 15 minutes and the super nice guy had us unlocked in about 5. A little bit of paperwork later and we were on the road again! Great, friendly service and he showed up FAST!
