I called Palmer's for help because my husband was out of town and unable to come and help as I was stranded in Duchesne, UT. (2 hrs away from SLC) The owner, Redge, was so helpful troubleshooting with me over the phone. I was still about 30 min away from his location, so he didn't move straight away to "let me tow you" method . INSTEAD, he gave me some advice to see if I could eliminate any kind of auxiliary help. When I Did the research and advice, I was able to start our truck up (go me! And YouTube!) and drive the truck their way. He asked his mechanic to stay late (on a Saturday in a small town) to double check our diagnostics. Needless to say, I made it back to my home in SLC after a successful trip out of town. Great team at this location! Helpful! And he treated me like his own daughter, with safety and honestly with good work and a great team behind him. 5 stars Palmer! Best, Malia

Any basic lube technician should know better than to use anything other than high mileage. When I called in the guy told me he asked for full synthetic which he did not. They offered that to him and he figured they knew what they were doing so he went along with the suggestion. More like they took advantage and used the highest mark up. The guy actually offered to bring it back in to put high mileage in my car. Ridiculous. Didn't offer any other relief for the situation. First time, last time.

Got the last 10' truck, all the various supplies (boxes, tape, lock). They made the process easy. Unfortunately, the truck broke down 10 miles outside town. While I'd prefer not to have needed them, UHaul Roadside Assistance was impressive. They stayed in touch, gave clear information, and arranged all the logistics to get us back on the road. They found another 10' truck (110 miles away, on our intended route), arranged a tow that covered that territory, and we did the swap and got back on the road. This took some time due to the distances involved. UHaul Vernal reached out to us and made reasonable adjustments to our bill for our inconvenience.
