There is only one elevator, so it's not unusual to spend a few minutes waiting for it. The fitness room is very basic, with just a treadmill and a small selection of weights. The pool, however, has finally been updated. The biggest advantage of this hotel is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, check-in and check-out are quick and easy, and service requests are handled promptly. I stayed here for three months, so I had a few requests during that time, and they were always addressed quickly and professionally. The complimentary breakfast is another highlight. There is a good variety of options, including fresh coffee, cheese omelets, pancakes, fruit, and other breakfast favorites. Overall, while the hotel could benefit from some updates, the excellent staff, responsive service, and good breakfast make it a solid choice if you're staying in Deming.

Upon returning home, we discovered what appeared to be bed bug bites, raising serious concerns about the condition of our room. I sent three emails to the property, called the front desk, and even contacted Choice Hotels corporate customer service. Corporate informed me that this was a property-level issue that local management needed to address. Despite all of my efforts, no one from the hotel has contacted me to acknowledge my concerns, explain whether the room was inspected, or tell me what, if anything, was done. What is most frustrating is not only the potential bed bug concern, but the complete lack of accountability. A simple phone call or email explaining the findings or the steps taken would have shown that management cares about its guests. Instead, I have been ignored. Bed bug concerns should always be taken seriously, and guests deserve timely communication and transparency. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend staying here. The property was relatively quiet and had a good breakfast. The breakfast attendant was amazing and helped make the trip enjoyable.

Within minutes it provided a soothing calm and a hard reboot on stress levels so do NOT skip it! Breakfast the next morning is stated as continental but it felt far from that with the breakfast burrito bar, fresh baked goods, fruit, oats along with a menu of available unique espresso drinks. Stephen/Khrys took great care of us and the rest of the breakfast crowd. Sierra Grande is right off the main little downtown drag that has lots of little galleries and shops... and a nice local brewery. If you ever find yourself in or around this area THIS is the spot to treat yourself to a stay.

This includes access to most of house, it's a very large ranch house, set in a 380 tree pecan orchard...Just beautiful Joan & Glenn make breakfast each day, Glenn is a busy man, volunteering on festival committee & keeping up with all his chores around the house. He has time to share a story or 2 & he's not only entertaining, but a wealth of knowledge regarding the gem & mineral industry. The other 2 rooms, were occupied by a couple from Nebraska, Brian/Sandy (stay strong) & a couple from Arizona, Jack/Kelly. Hopefully see you all next year There are no kids running around here, only adults. You can make the 10 minute walk to town if you'd like or drive. Was certainly nice being able to go enjoy the festival activities & head back & relax. Without driving 20-30 minutes to a hotel or motel. Will definitely be back... We did not use the common pool area but did soak in three of the different private spaces over four visits. Each was very nice. There are two different styles of private pools here, the classics which run hotter and are a little shallower than the newer pools which they call their deluxe pools. The deluxe pools are to the left and classics to the right. The entire area is a whisper zone, so quiet and tranquil is the feel and vibe here. A guide meets you at the gazebo outside the gated area a few minutes before your session starts to check you in, let you in and point you in the right direction. All private soaking areas are named and numbered on their door front. The soaking areas are very clean, private and nicely appointed with a pair of loungers, a table of some sorts, overhead cool misters, a cold water bucket shower overhead on each pool, towel and clothes hooks and a wall clock to keep you on time, and intercom with the office. Went both during the day and the end at sunset, each offers its own experience. It seems to be quieter during the early hours, than the evening. Sessions are 50 minutes and they are prompt to get you in on time so you can enjoy your full time soaking. About five minutes before your session ends they notify you over the intercom that your time is ending so you do not run over time and allow them time to prep the space for the next people soaking. I have been to Riverbend Hot Springs 3 times, each time was belter than the last…read more This past December we were in the area so we made the journey to TorC for the Hot Springs. I had made the reservations about 3 weeks before. As with the last time I booked, I was very surprised that it wastn closer to sold out already. We have been to a few different hot springs some have been pretty cool, literally. The last one was outside Fairbanks Alaska in the winter. But one thing that is common at these spots is that they are communal pools. There tends to be a creeper now and then. But Riverbend has private pools, facing the Rio Grande. So this time I made note of the temps of each individual pool on the website, and got us the hottest one. It was perfect. It really does have pools that drop off right into the Rio. It was close to dusk and the river was flowing past the long shadows in front of us. The hour of relaxation flew by. It is the best we have been to. I am sorta happy that they arent so known as to be overbooked. Because we will be back again next time we are in the area.
