Black Pearl - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - San Jose, California

BEWARE of these sales people ! They are only after your money . They are good at team work with selling their products they make things up saying that they are calling their manager for a good deal or checking the computer to pretend they will be giving you an great deal . They start you off with the most expensive prices and then when they know they can't make the sales they use the price it should be for . Try for yourself visit the stands at the mall and ask questions and then they use sometimes the same sales line "FOR TODAY ONLY" they say the same things to every customer they did it to my aunt and my mom including me . Their sales tactic do not work and their products are not good this is all a SCAM ! They also talk behind your back in their language my friend knows their language and told me that they are scammers form their country ! Don't be fooled spend your money on well known brands . That's this black pearl garbage read more

I had been shopping and while walking through the mall I was asked to try Black Pearl by a Sales Representative, who also is skilled at performing spa facial treatments. I had been asked to sample the Black Pearl product by a Sales Representative previously several years before. I knew that I had formed a favorable opinion of their cream before, yet I hadn't purchased. So, why did I purchase on the second occasion? The first time, I had not purchased because of the price. Once I got the products home, I knew I had made a sound investment. I like the ingredient found in Black Pearl products, Dead Sea Salts; and a search in Wikipedia will tell you that there are many therapeutic benefits, including, anti-aging. Plus, the natural ingredients from the ocean -- black pearl powder and seaweed -- also do the same. The healing effect on my skin became noticeable after the first week. And after two months of using Black Pearl skincare my skin is firmer and healthier. The skincare consultants at Black Pearl are so helpful and enthusiastic, as well as knowledgeable and great to deal with. They provided a thorough, in-depth explanation of how the Black Pearl skincare products work. I felt fortunate to be given the opportunity to have a spa treatment and consultation with Delphine. I felt that Delphine knew exactly how to focus on what products were relevant for me and she helped recommend my own personal skincare line-up. The inside of the Oakridge Black Pearl store is like stepping into a Museum. The abstract designs and the conservative colors of the store are reflective of the uplifting effect of the Black Pearl products. These are serious face and body treatments. The textures, scents, and natural ingredients of Black Pearl are blended to make a highly potent, effective, long-lasting product. And, using the products is a treat in itself. read more

The product is decent however I'm shocked to see the prices on Amazon for so inexpensive. I feel ripped off by spending so much at the store. read more

I bought a Pearl Peeling mask from the sales representative Sivan. She was a very "sweet" talker and I was dumb to fall for her sales BS. Anyways, she sold me this mask for $80. I checked online for the price and it's only $24-$49. What a rip off! On top of that, the mask made me break out really bad. The store has a no return policy as well. I wasn't thinking when I went into this store, but don't let this happen to you. The product is not good and so is their sales model. read more

I was lured into this store the other day but didn't mind since I am actually in the market for some new product. I was given the exfoliation on the hand routine, then she put some cream under one of my eyes to smooth out those pesky wrinkles. I was late meeting a friend so I asked for a sample of the eye cream, which I was told they don't have, so I left. The next morning I woke up with a whelt under my eye where she had put the cream. When I looked on Yelp & saw they didn't give refunds I was very thankful I was late & didn't buy this product. I'm not saying all their products are bad or that this would happen to everyone, but I caution you to try before you buy. read more

I received a nicely packed and decorated package from some friends for my birthday. To my surprise it was a black pearl package of body butter, body exfoliants and facial creams. I had never used the products before so was excited to try them out on my skin. The facial cream is great and non-greasy and is SPF15. Great for protecting my skin and not making me feel all greasy. The body exfoliant and body butter are great together for keeping my skin smooth, hydrated and soft. The smell is amazing as well! Definitely recommend these products!! read more

This review is specifically for the great service provided by a gentleman by the name of Milano. I was having a difficult time getting back a cash refund from a different location that I had made a purchase for 283.70. As I walked in he was very friendly and professional and made me feel very comfortable... He also reassured me with the waiting time on the wait time while helping me handle my situation... Would recommend anyone to come and ask for Milano if u would like to do any kind of business with this store @ this location! Yay!!!! read more

I was walking by this place and at the entrance was a man and woman.. as i passed the man handed me a small bag which appeared to be a sample.. so I said oh sure thank you. He then said why don't you come in let me show you how it works no charge.... Now I've walked by this place before always seems dead which is why imagine they stand near the entrance to bring in customers.. so i thought oh sure why not (big mistake), we go inside and he asks me to sit then begins to tell me about the face and body products they sell.. he asked me few questions on my skin type and what not then proceeded to test the products on my hand.. i was very impressed when we got the body scrub and lotion. Now i did not intend on buying anything but since I've heard about the wonders of sea salt i thought id check it out...he tells me that it removes the dead skins on the surface and so i thought id mention that i have scars and if he thought it would benefit me or if it might cause dryness.. on the contrary he says it may actually make them softer... So i thought ok id like to look into it more see how that would all work together (I don't know about you but I like to do my research before i purchase something).. So he then tells me that at regular price the body scrub is 99.99 (wow) but for today he could give to me for half 50.00 .... of course i didn't expect it to be cheap but as i said i like to look into what im buying even more so if its expensive.. so i said id think about it maybe do some research and look for reviews (i know he's doing his job in trying to sell it but again im not going to jump into a purchase ). So he says let me show you and gets up to grab his tablet walks over to the woman(still at the entrance) it appeared he was asking her for the website. he comes back and shows me the body lotion on the website but there are no reviews, so i said no im sorry ill have to do some research... Nope didn't work he asks me to wait a moment, goes back to the woman who then comes back with him to show me the yelp page.... Very pushy and at this point i was beginning to get uncomfortable because they wouldn't just let me go and i didn't want to be rude.. so im looking at the yelp page meanwhile the woman goes back to the entrance.. I say, these reviews seem to mostly be about how great you two are so i think im going to wait.. again he asks me to wait a moment goes to the woman and i can see she wasn't very happy as she kept making hand gestures as if frustrated.. then i see her walking towards me and she says what is the problem (with an ugly tone in her voice that it really irked me).. i say there is no problem, i simply want to look into something before i buy it.. and she responds with its on the label and i showed you the yelp page so why more research.. I responded with yes i see that, i understand its on the label but that doesn't tell me anything.. its my opinion and my choice to want to research before i buy... She reaches for the tablet to again look for something else to show me.. so i say you know what don't worry about it.. ill do my research and if im interested ill buy online.. she walks away, I grab my phone and tell the guy im sorry im just gonna go i don't think she likes me having too many questions... i began to walk away when he hands me a sample to take... As im walking to the entrance the woman greets me goodbye so i say goodbye... Very pushy... Can't take no for an answer... And then gets upset when i rejected the purchase... that is no way to win a customer... So rude... I meant when i said i was impressed and would of come back after id learned more about this brand... But as soon as she went bipolar because i rejected to buy right then and there... That's it you lost me... Practically yelled at me for not wanting to buy at that very moment... Goes to show that those other reviews on here are very true.. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY! read more

I was at Black Pearl at Oakridge on Blossom Hill rd. A free facial was given by a very nice young lady name Delphine Driquez. after I was convinced to buy some moisturizer products from her. I'm very happy with the facial . I always like beauty products from Israel since I did quite research on them , used them and was happy with them. So let me use these moisturizer and will get back with you with result. But I have faith in these products . You should try them and see it for yourself. read more

When I was done eating at chipotle I was trying to go to hot topic then they stopped me at their stand place. They wanted to try face stuff on my face. They said I have great skin. I liked the stuff but didn't really want it so I could save money. They said they would sell to me for a cheap price or free of no charge. I tried buying nice and told them not today but they were being pushy. When they sold me the stuff it was too expensive which really burnt a hole in my pocket and saw on the receipt they are no refunds. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM AND AVOID THEIR STAND IF YOU DON'T WANT A HOLE BURNT IN YOUR POCKET. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY. read more

I would highly recommend the Pearl Peeling Mask. My face has never felt so vibrant and leaves a glowing feeling. After I apply it onto my skin I can feel the cleansing almost immediately. The mask has this soothing aura. No more pore clogging residue due to dust or harmful sun damage. The smell of it, I am addicted. For optimal results, I had purchased their daily moisturizer for combination skin. read more

While strolling around the mall, me and my friend were lured by a very friendly, smiley, sweet and young looking lady in Black Pearl Oak- Shayna! Great customer service, very friendly, Seva (excuse the spelling) served me and tried some products on me, especially around the eyes. Despite being male I do like to look after myself and I value good products, time will tell if the hype turns out to be right, although I've used other Black Sea products in the past and they've all proved to be good. read more
