We were fortunate that none of the massive oaks and poplars surrounding our house landed on the house, but it left us with a high level of anxiety... Would they fall during the next storm? I met Adam at the park with his dog and kids, and happened to notice the tree company on his shirt. That same day he came to our house and gave us a good overview of the trees that posed risk to our property and which ones he wasn't concerned about. More recently, we had someone agree to bring and spread gravel but they did not follow through. Recently, I saw a neighbor's new gravel paths, contacted her to ask "who did it?" "Adam Greenspan, of Greenspan Landcare." So I contacted Greenspan's through the website, and soon thereafter Adam telephoned, and came to meet my husband and me. We have a narrow, long, worn gravel driveway, 145' long, on a slope, 2 parking areas off the driveway, and paths in the woods. We were impressed with Adam's suggestions and plans for these areas. We were also impressed with the fact that Adam complimented the way the driveway had been done originally, 27 years ago, even with Road Bond as a base. Adam is pleasant, experienced, follows through! If he says he is coming, he shows up! Adam did recommend Road Bond for the driveway, topped with gravel. "Just" gravel for the flat parking areas. We discussed the size of the gravel, and went with pea gravel. He first got the parking areas, and driveway appropriately level. Following were many loads of Road Bond and gravel, competently "dumped," and spread by hand with rakes. It was wonderful to watch the dexterity, strength, and power of Adam and his team. Adam Greenspan has had amazing training and experience, offers suggestions of how something can be done, etc. Wants to understand what his clients want. Can offer numerous suggestions. Happy to have help, I paid them after the first day (big mistake). Then they did not come back for the second day to complete the work. When they came two weeks later, they trimmed grass and pull weeds but forgot to bring their chain saw so they did not do any tree or limb clearing. Two weeks later they came back with the chain saw but did not bring the trailer so again no debris could be hauled off. Over the corse of 2 months, they continues to cut grass but never fully finished the initial clean up. Plus, they started trying to add extra fees for tree trimming which was included in the original estimate that I had already paid for. Needless to say, I had to let home go.
