Fantastic bartenders! Hubby likes their selection of Belgium beers. I was grateful they served alcohol from local distilleries.

Hidden in the back of storefront, cool little beer garden. Beer was legit (Haze 20). Staffing was appropriate and service was great.

Freaking awesome. Great place to enjoy a picnic table with the dog or inside in the air con (sans…read moredog). Easy, free parking. We are an hour away but we want everything on the menu. Loved the peach beer myself (just the one) and my spouse enjoy his 3 ipa's. Met good patrons, which always tells me about a place. Pickle pizza hit the spot! And to make it 100% id suggest adding Sriracha or ranch drizzle? It needed just one *something.* but also totally brilliant without.

I stopped by here a number of weekends ago now with my wife for lunch and some drinks. We had been…read morelooking for a brewery in Erie to visit after the Erie Marathon whenever Lavery Brewing popped up on Yelp. This place is large and has both outdoor seating on the side as well as plenty of indoor seating. The inside looked like a mix of cozy and industrial, with a long wooden bar stretching the length of the room, warm pendant lights hanging overhead, colorful beer boards on the wall, and shelves lined with bottles and glassware behind the bar. It had a relaxed but lively feel to it. After looking around to figure out where we wanted to sit, we ultimately chose the bar. For lunch on this day I chose to go with the pimento smash deluxxxe while my wife went with the pesto pizza. The menu described my meal as two smash patties, bacon, American cheese, pimento cheese, and onion rings on a brioche bun while my wife's was described as parsley basil pesto, triple cheese blend, fire roasted tomatoes with a balsamic glaze. I thought that the burger here was delicious as the patties were seasoned nicely and I appreciated the onion rings. While there was plenty of cheese and it was flavorful, I almost could have used more of the pimento. Then my wife liked her pizza here especially the pesto combined with the fire roasted tomatoes. Then for drinks, as I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight here. At Lavery Brewing, a flight consists of 6 beers and I chose the Active Recovery, Seeking Clarity, Lime n Cuke, Throwing Tropical Shade, Sound Mild, and Divine Intervention for my flight. I first started with the Active Recovery which was light and hoppy and very drinkable. Up second was the Seeking Clarity which had a clean start before a heavy dose of hops in the middle which surprisingly didn't linger. Third was the Lime n Cuke which has a strong cucumber smell and the drink itself is dry like most goses with a mild lime and stronger cucumber flavor. Fourth was Throwing Tropical Shade and you could really taste the orange and other tropical flavors with a finish flavor of coconut. For me this was a really delicious beer. Up fifth was the Sound Mild which was light but you got the nice flavor of those toasted malts at the finish. Last but certainly not least was the Divine Intervention which had a strong coconut flavor on the finish. Out of the bunch my favorite ended up being the Throwing Tropical Shade. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both enjoyed the beverages and the food and we left both happy and stuffed.

6/20/25 Ate List:…read moreBeechwood Burger - 7.3 This spot is cool. I feel like it's deceptively solid. I've seen this spot go through so many iterations of name, execution, menu, and seating over the years. But it now "seems" to have stabilized somewhat. They do a kinda weird but not too crazy thing. Drinks can be ordered at your seat, food must be ordered at a window. Two seperate checks. Not insane, not convenient, but it's fine. Kinda sets these into the weird "Do I tip you both? Do I tip you at all?" Like it operates like a brewery but with the food "process" of Panera. Whatever. Anyway. So, before I say this - they get some credit because they "made it right" without me pressing. My food was given to another patron and I was waiting for 45 minutes before I asked what the deal was. They offered me a free app - appreciated. Meal wasn't comped but they felt bad, they fired up mine fresh, was ready in 15. Also, from the other guests, I seemed like an anomaly so I wouldn't let this fluke that they rectified be that impactful on my overall feelings. The burger was good. Their namesake burger. Overall very solid. Not an all-timer. But if I was craving a burger - this would satisfy it. Tots were solid too.

To be clear, the four stars is solely for the Erie Brewing Company beer and server. If I could…read moresomehow separate the Beachwood Inn Hardwood Grill, they would have a one or two star at best. The facility itself was nice and clean. Their business model is a little odd, but that did not take away from the great beers they have on tap! On the other hand, the food service, at least in our one visit perspective did not do them any favors. I must say I did overall enjoy my Southwest salad; however, you could smell the old fry oil from our order of tots and the pepperoni flatbread reminded me a lot of the pizza I had at the high school cafeteria! The fry oil dripped through the tots and pulled on the countertop! Yuck! The old saying, "you only have one chance to make a good first impression" is true! Not impressed with the food at all.

Wow what an amazing place to have a meal…read more.. Did NOT know what to think but it was awesome. Vegan Friendly... They can make you anything you want with vegan dogs, vegan cheese (even cream cheese) and vegan sauces... Make sure you use the right door.. and they even have a covered patio area...

Driving from Buffalo to Pittsburgh there were several requests in the car for "good french fries"…read more I did a google search and Lucky Louie's popped up so we figured we'd try it. The place itself is pretty tiny. About three tables and hightop chairs along the bar. The menu is on the wall and huge! We ordered the kids Octodog which was a huge it. It is a hot dog cut into the shape of an octopus and served over macaroni and cheese. The octopus even had a face cut into it. My daughter said it was almost too cute to eat. My husband got the two dog special - two smaller versions of their signature dogs - because he was having a hard time deciding. They were served on "regular" hot dog rolls vs. the specialty buns most of theirs come on, but it was a perfect way to get to try two different flavors for the price of one of their signature dogs. I got the greek fries. DELICIOUS! I love the flavor of their greek sauce and the combo of the ingredients was just perfect. If I order this in the future, I'll probably add a hot dog chopped up on the top (to get the taste of a favorite dish from a hot dog shop back home). Service was quick and friendly. Overall a wonderful place with a great selection of unique and creative fry and hot dog options. Definitely a place we will be back to!
