I called early on Memorial Day to see if they accepted walk ins, and they said that while they do…read moretake walk in's, today would be busy, and they recommended making an appointment. It was quick and easy to make an appointment on their website, and it didn't require a security deposit either. I arrived to get my conch piercing at 5:30 pm and I was out by 6 pm. I was a little nervous and had lots of questions about the piercing itself and the after care. I also had not gotten a piercing in years, so I was worried it would be painful. They were kind and allowed my two friends to come to the back with me to hold my hand (I know... I'm a scaredy cat). Mitch walked me through everything that was going to happen- for example, "okay, you're gonna feel a small pinch first and then you'll feel some pressure." He also said that my only job was to keep breathing. He had me take one deep breath in and then exhale out right as he did the piercing, too. As you can tell, the team is very patient and kind here. This is a great spot for anxious girlies or for your first time getting a piercing. Their piercing and jewelry pricing is all fair. My conch piercing costed $45 plus the 14K gold jewelry I chose. Unlike other shops, they had a huge selection of yellow gold and rose gold options that were actually cute- flowers, stars, moons, etc. On average, I saw the stud earrings were about $60-170 each. They also tallied up my total prior to actually getting the piercing, so there weren't any surprises at the end when I paid. They sent me home with a detailed after care guide too. I've already told friends and family about this shop being a great option for them when they come visit Utah.

It took me a while to figure out what jewelry I wanted, but she reassured me that it was a-okay. We had to readjust the markings for my lobes a few times to make sure it was perfect/to my liking, and she continued to double check and make sure it's exactly where I wanted them. This was my first time getting pierced in over 14 years, so she walked me through the entire process, and continued to make sure I was calm and collected for the next piercing, one after the other. They were out of quite a few of the pieces I originally wanted, but we were able to find ones that were comparable. Really glad I did my research and came here!

I went to the Classic Tattoo Convention on Friday and met Jacob from Sideshow Productions. While…read morelooking through his portfolio, I saw a Seahawks piece and asked if he could do something similar for me. I showed him a reference photo and trusted him to recreate that style. What I ended up with looks nothing like the reference. The line work is rough, the proportions are off, and the overall design doesn't match what I asked for at all. The background in particular is completely different from the reference and not what I wanted. On top of that, I was originally quoted $100, but ended up being charged $155 -- and that extra cost was supposedly for the background, which doesn't even resemble the picture I provided. This is the first tattoo I've ever genuinely hated, and now I'm stuck having to look into fixing or covering it. I won't be going back. If you're considering getting work done here, I'd strongly recommend making sure you're completely confident in the artist and getting your price confirmed upfront.

I had a sizing issue with a piece of jewelry I purchased, and honestly, I wasn't happy with it at first. I could have easily written a bad review, eaten the cost, and moved on, but instead I decided to reach out to the store first. Chelsea was incredibly helpful, listened to my concerns, and went above and beyond to help make the situation right. She completely changed my experience and left me a very happy customer. It's easy to leave a bad review when something doesn't go the way you expected, but sometimes the people behind the business deserve a chance to fix the problem first. So, a little note to all you keyboard warriors reach out before you write the review. Give the business a chance to make it right. In my case, that made all the difference. Thank you, Chelsea, for taking care of me and turning a frustrating situation into a really positive experience. I genuinely appreciate it!

They have a wide selection of jewelry to choose from. They are by appointment, which is fine, but I was able to secure one same day. It was easy to find street parking and find the studio itself. 5/5 stars for me, no complaints. I was there for probably no more than 15 minutes. I believe they have a system where they follow up with you and see how you're doing, which is neat.

Alexis said no big deal, you're only 10 minutes from our new location downtown. When I navigated the new location it was 23 minutes away, making it about a 45 minute trek from my home. Not worth it! I blatantly texted her then stating I would not go that far and she replied asking me if I'd still make the appointment. Learn to read your text messages much? VERY POOR SERVICE! I found my boy Erwin through a recommendation from one of my bro's so I made and appointment. The shop is very homey and comfortable, and the vibe is right. All of the staff was very funny and outgoing and made you feel welcomed. I really enjoyed this experience. Definitely will recommend to friends and family and to anyone who is looking for a shop and artist that will take care of them like family, So my boy Erwin took care of me, he made my tattoo experience A-1, I had 3 tattoos that we had planned for in one day, and he was able to do all 3 of them in under 4 hours, and the detail was amazing, he was very light handed, and I didn't bleed like my other tattoos, so I really appreciate him for his love and dedication and his amazing work. I really love my tattoos, each one has a meaning to me, and I felt excited about the finish outcome. Erwin definitely is my go to tattoo artist now, and i husky recommend him to anyone looking for an awesome and outstanding artist. Thanks bro; you are awesome Erwin, keep up the amazing work you are doing, and I will see you soon for my next tattoos.

In addition, there are myriad other pieces of body jewelry (hence the name, ha!). I was impressed to find a small assortment of maybe twenty solid 14k gold single earrings, very reasonably priced from $30-$70. Beyond the above, there were accessories, pocketknives, smoking accoutrements, tattoo supplies, incense, and various other unexpected, but somewhat related products. Honestly, it felt sort of....not quite divey, but Spencer's-esque? I cannot pinpoint it as it's just a general feeling, but at it's simplest it's just not particularly my style. On the other hand, the gentleman working was very friendly, helpful, and truly nice! Just because this wasn't to my taste, doesn't mean you won't find something of value here. Of note, parking is surprisingly bad. This is in a mishmosh strip of businesses, and I never would have thought it would be full, but around 3:00pm on a Friday there was not one space open, and I had to park along the road behind the stores.
