    Peanut butter chocolate shake
    Krystle K.

We went here for the shakes and the presentation is five stars but overall probably 3.5 stars. The shake itself was like soft serve and there was a strong taste in chocolate syrup (chocolate peanut butter shake). The birthday cake shake was supposedly good according to my one child who barely had any of it. Food was okay. I ordered the chicken Philly and probably wouldn't order it again. The chicken was dry and didn't have much flavor. We also ordered the Mac and cheese bites appetizer for one of my kids but it was too spicy. My other kid ordered the slider with cheese kids meal and he said he liked it. We all liked the fries. Loaded fries were also ordered. We really wanted the flat bread pesto chicken and the kids flat bread meal but there machine broke yesterday. Service was good. We took a long time ordering but it seemed to take a longer time to get our shakes and food. We were checked on a few times while we were sitting at our table. There were several of our friends that recommended this place so we will try this restaurant one more time and see how service and everything tastes.

We had an interesting experience here to say the least. We were driving through here on our way to our next work spot and stopped for dinner. The location has plenty of parking and is easy to get to. It seemed super clean inside. You order at the counter and then sit with your buzzer. I'm sure when they get busy you can go grab your food but they weren't super busy so they brought it to us. First, the food. The shake was okay but I could tell it was just vanilla ice cream and Hershey syrup. You definitely pay for the presentation. The burgers were awesome, the options they had were fantastic. Whoever built the menu did a great job pairing toppings together, it was hard to make a decision on which one I wanted. Now, the really disappointing part. I hesitate to even say anything because I hate writing about service but there were opportunities to fix it and they didn't. An appetizer was forgotten. Not a big deal, we mentioned it to the server and just told her not to worry about it. But then, two burgers were forgotten. We had 5 people so only 3 of us got ours. The weird thing was, one of the girls who didn't get her burger had a whole conversation with the person who took our order about what came on the burger and what she wanted taken off. PLUS both those peoples sides were ordered, they got their fries, but their burgers were forgotten? It was the weirdest thing. Again, people make mistakes - when we brought it to their attention, they remade them and everything seemed fine. Then the manager came out and asked for a credit card to pay for them. It just felt weird, we ordered AT THE COUNTER, the cashier forgot items, at this point everyone else had eaten otherwise our food would have gotten cold, and there was no attempt to make things right from the establishments side. It was just an odd experience. As someone who worked in restaurants for a long time, there were some things the manager could have done to make us feel better about the situation.

First time visiting Black Label in Fremont. When you walk in you order at the counter with the counter overhead. The staff was friendly. We ordered a flat bread pizza, American burger, fries and jalapeño poppers. We may have waited 10 minutes and our food was ready which will thought was very reasonable. Food came out hot and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The restaurant was nice inside. Overall it was a very good experience and we plan to return. This is probably my favorite restaurant in Fremont. I was debating on a 4 or 5 rating and decided it is worthy of 5 stars for this visit.

The service was friendly and decently fast for as busy as the place was! The food tasted delicious and the shakes were amazing! Totally worth the wait, the price, and the drive! We're definitely coming back!

Great burger & fun fancy milkshake joint in Fremont! We tripped up to Fremont from Omaha for dinner to finally visit, and it was 5/5! You walk in and order at the bar, sit down and they bring everything out to you, and you leave everything at your table when you're done! Food came out very quick even with a rush of people right at dinner time on a Saturday night! Food was all so flavorful, hot, and fresh! Wish this place was in Omaha so we can eat it more often! Prices are good, better than Omaha prices. Parking is in a lot right outside. My husband did say the bathrooms were pretty gross and looked unclean in multiple days, and he never comments on anything, so for him to comment I believe they were probably not clean. I didn't use the bathrooms at all, and obviously we didn't take pictures, haha.

We drove 45 minutes for the milkshakes, but were pleasantly surprised by the service and food here too. Great flat bread, fries were crispy and fresh. The burger was awesome and the kids enjoyed the grilled cheese. The staff was super friendly and attentive, not what we normally see at restaurants lately. It felt a little odd with the kids in a bar environment, but they were very family friendly. The carmel turtle cheesecake shake was amazing, so much Carmel and really fantastic. The presentation was great, quick service and the kids loved it (as did we!) easy to share with our family.

Looove this new addition to Fremont, NE! Black Label is located owned and operated and while we were there we spoke with the owners daughter. Everyone was super friendly and the food was super tasty. Inside is clean and has tons of seating. Menu consists of unique burgers, wood fire pizzas, other sandwiches, starters and amazing looking shakes. Oh and they have a full bar too! We ordered 2 Black Label Burgers $10.95 which had shoulder bacon, smoked cheddar, whiskey glaze, garlic aioli, caramelized onions, mushrooms on a house roll. The meat was delicious, with the crispy bits on the patty and well seasoned. Bun was super soft and all the toppings paired well with it. Next time we would go with a double patty $1.25 extra, since we didn't read the menu well enough that the patties were smashed, which we love, but we prefer a meatier taste. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries $4.45 with the marshmallow maple drizzle on the side. We ended up loving the marshmallow glaze! Also ordered a side of the homemade spicy ranch and it was tasty as well. Can't wait to go back and try their shakes next time were in Nebraska.

Birthday Shakes are huge of course you had to pay for greatness. This is great for grandpa to get brownies points and brownie. Food is good- I know they got a smoker somewhere . Of course you got to order before you sit down but that help them

Great addition to the small town. Lively ambiance but not too loud. I saw families enjoying dinner and a variety of people coming in. I like what the updates they made on the inside of this building. They had a mix of high top and regular size tables. TV's had current sport events playing but not too loud. We came on a Friday night which got busy fast! They have a sit yourself set up, but you must order and pay first (including tip- which is hard to give before experiencing the service). The servers bring your food to the table and pick up dirty plates (other than that, they don't come around unless you wave them down or get up and call them). The food is basic American sandwiches, burgers, and they have day specials like the wings. Fries are not included in the price of the burger so you have to order those separate, neither does dipping sauces like ranch, those are .50 each small half full containers. I'm not big on ranch but I would expect to have a side of it or some kind of dipping sauce with the wing order. Our tab was around $50 for two including tip. The wings were dry, not enough sauce for my taste, but I had no way of asking for side sauce since the line got extremely long and there were only two servers. I would come back for fries and to try one of their adult shakes.

    Jalapeno Popper burger

Place has awesome burgers. Tried the jalapeno popper burger and it was slightly greasy, slightly spicy, but delicious and filling. We didn't get a shake, but people next to us had them, and they looked crazy huge and delicious. We'll have to return just for the shakes. Came back for shakes the next day. Cookies and cream has an ice cream sandwich and cupcake on top. Very good. Place can get pretty busy, so you might have a wait. They also have beer on tap.

Black Label is absurdly delicious. The milkshake was absurdly absurd. A bit on the pricey side, but one shake can feed a family, so that makes some sense. The Black Label burger was perfect and the queso fries were, at first, addicting....and then they were gone. It's order-at-the-counter, but the service still managed to stick out. Pleasant employees, and a cool vibe with a full bar and plenty of TVs. Knock-out spot.

I was happy to see a new local eatery in this town with fast food and other chains being so popular (and unfortunately pretty successful.) I tried this new establishment with my sister where we have two totally different palates. The burgers were flavorful, moist, and well cooked. My burger came to a pretty fair medium and with everything I expected. I ordered a starter of Jalapeño Poppers and not only were they delicious, they seemed different and I strongly recommend them. The drink was all my sisters who is not a huge fan of an alcohol taste to her mixed drinks and this drink did not disappoint as she told me multiple times that the drink was great. If you're in Fremont during lunch or dinner, this is definitely a new local place you should check out. I wish I would have gotten more photos however I did not want to disturb other customers that were eating.

So much to say... I'm visiting Omaha a few times a year and Semo has been on my list of restaurant…read moreto try for a couple of years and I'm so glad we finally got to try it. We were welcomed by Paris who would be our waitress for the evening. She's very personable and you can count on her for recommandations. A little glas of sparkling wine as a palet cleanser and to put you in the mood and we were ready to order. We decided to share an order of bread and butter and the radish crudites. Both really it the spot. The bread we prefered was the challah and the whipped ricotta that comes with the radish is so good. We also had some Count of Monte Cosmo cocktails After Paris recommended it I went for Campanelle with pistachio pesto and my husband chose the halibut. I love pasta and you can definitely tell those are made from scratch. The pesto was very good not too oily and very flavorful. The fish was cooked to perfection, crispy crust on one side, melty on the other side and it made a perfect combination. It is served on a bed of lentil hummus with fennel and radishes that adds some earthiness and blends really well with the fish. We shared the birthday cake for dessert topped with cake batter ice cream and sprinkles. The cake is made from scratch (and gluten free) and it's to die for. My husband is all about ice cream and with this dessert he couldn't care less. The cake stole the show. We had a little chat with the bartender (I'm so sorry I should have asked for your name) after having hesitated between the Sumocello and Clemencello (both homemade) and she recommanded the Sumocello. Based on smell it's a winner. It just smells so good and it tastes as good as it smells. The service was outstanding. The food speaks for itself but having waiting staff that cares and shares is a huge plus to me (being european). We had such a great evening. We enjoyed the food, we enjoyed the atmosphere, we enjoyed the people, we enjoyed ourselves... We're moving to Omaha early next year and Semo will definitely be part of our rotation but I'm sure it will become our favorite restaurant in the area. Thank you so much to all members of the team. You're doing a wonderful job and deserve the credit.

Let me start of by pointing out the obvious, this restaurant gets good reviews…read more I am not sure if it is from all the friendly Woodcliff locals who dine here nightly, the ambiance of the rustic brick and lumber building , the friendly staff, or the great food, but the reviews don't line. This is a MUST TRY kinda place if you find yourself anywhere close to Woodcliff Lake. Being that it was our first visiting here, our server Ainsley was very patient with us and gave us time to look over the menu. We both opted for the house salad to start. Very good!! Being that it was Thursday and every Thursday is burger night, we both ordered the house special the " I dip, you dip, we French dip". It's an all beef burger topped with roast beef , grilled onions and Swiss cheese. Served with a your choice of sides and a bowl of as Au Jus . I'm going to go out on a limb here and honestly say that I cannot remember a time that I had a better burger than this. It wasn't all the French dip toppings that made it so memorable, it was the beef patty that was cooked and seasoned to perfection. This lends us to believe that all their burgers are going to be amazing. We will be going back.
