I had my car windows tinted at Black It Out Tints on Sonoma Boulevard in Vallejo. shop, and I was told the tint came with a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be true. After I paid $275 for the service, the tint started peeling off on its own. I contacted the shop, and they told me to come in so they could fix it. However, every time I showed up, they made excuses, saying they were too busy and asked me to come back later. I went back more than seven times, even closing my own business to make time, and still nothing was done. Finally, the owner contacted me, and He apologized and scheduled me for an appointment the following week at 12:00 PM, asking me to arrive 10 minutes early so they could complete the job right away in about 30 minutes. I even received daily reminder messages confirming the appointment. On the day of the appointment, I arrived 10 minutes early as instructed. When I checked in, the staff said they had no record of my appointment. They still told me to leave the car and promised it would be done within an hour. I waited outside for over an hour, and they never even touched my car. Meanwhile, other customers who arrived without appointments were being served before me. While I was there, another customer driving a 2026 Nissan coupe, yellow in color, was also upset and complained that he had just gotten his car tinted. He was unhappy with the results. He said to me they did his car 2 hours ago. That made it clear to me that I'm not the only one having issues with this shop. After waiting 2-3 hours with no progress, I was told to come back again. This level of service is completely unacceptable. The staff was unprofessional, rude, and dishonest. I texted the owner, and I made it clear that I had closed my business to be there, but that did not seem to matter. This shop charged me $275 for a service that should have been covered under their so-called "lifetime warranty." Instead, I received poor workmanship and even worse customer service. I believe they should take responsibility and fix the issue properly instead of wasting my time repeatedly. Well, my car will never return to this stupid shop ever, especially the staff who worked out there. 100.% WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this business, BlackIt Out Tints, in Vallejo, to NO ONE. read more

I've had multiple vehicles tinted here. On my last visit, there was a miscommunication with the woman I was texting. I asked if they could do the front half and sunroof for $150, and she replied they could do it for $180. Since I'd previously paid $150 for the front half, which included the front side windows and windshield, I understood the $180 quote to mean the same front half plus the sunroof. The installer explained that she had interpreted my request as just the front side windows and sunroof. He then offered to do the front half for $180 instead, without the sunroof, which meant paying $30 more than I'd previously paid for the same front half. I reached out to several places on Yelp for a window tint quote for my Tesla, and Skylar from Black Out Tints responded quickly with the best price in town. I was initially hesitant since they didn't have a ton of reviews yet, but the ones they did have were all positive, so I decided to give them a shot. I stopped by in the morning and was helped right away. Andy walked me through my options and made great recommendations. I ended up tinting the front and rear side windows, leaving the rear bottom partially tinted since Tesla already applies a stock tint. Andy did an excellent job seamlessly blending the new tint with the factory tint, it looks flawless from the outside! From the inside, you can see the transition, but that's expected for this car unless you tint the entire roof. I was in and out in under an hour. Got my window tinted here and they scratched my car and damaged the window. Contacted them to let them know what happened and sent them pictures of the damage but they insisted that the blade they use doesn't scratch windows. I told them that the tracings of the scratches outline the tinting but they kept denuying. Asked Skylark for the owner's number but they provided fake contact info. I purchased a used GMC pickup truck. The driver & passenger windows had a dark window tint on them. It was so dark that I could not see my mirrors after dark.
