I just cancelled my membership today bc I haven't been going and I rollerblade so that has been my work out. They charged me $17 to cancel my membership It was a good run, maybe I'll rejoin later. Also the ownership changed and the app doesn't work anymore which is kind of wack.

As we entered, the front desk staff was immediately rude. While I was checking my client in, I was told in front of others that I was not allowed in the facility because they claimed I had previously been teaching exercises in the weight room. My client is special needs and a visual learner. Any guidance I provide is for support and understanding, not personal training. I calmly explained this, but the staff was dismissive and told me to leave the facility until my client finished his class. My client is currently in his swimming aerobics class, completely unaware of what happened, while I was asked to leave without professionalism or discretion. I have supported multiple clients at YMCA locations and have never experienced this kind of treatment before. This interaction was disrespectful, embarrassing, and showed a complete lack of sensitivity toward individuals with special needs. This will be the last time I come to this facility or recommend it.

What's great about this place is the people who regularly attend, the community they've built and their energy was contagious EVERY time. Definitely a big part of why I kept coming back. There is a bit of diet culture that's prevalent since they sell and promote Herbalife on site but it's nothing that they push on you, it's just there. I was moving out of town, but I stopped attending classes a month before my move because at the time I believe there were changes going on with instructors. I think they were looking to hire new instructors and a different candidate would come every class for a trial. I'm not particularly coordinated, so I was not a fan of the inconsistency between dance/teaching styles. I'm not sure who the new instructors are, but it is definitely worth your time to come have class and check it out. Your first class is free- nothing to lose! After that it's $4 per class or you can sign up for a monthly membership for $45. I would go often enough that the monthly pass was great for me. Feedback: I think they need to improve their communication. Start an email notification system or update their facebook page more often. Rarely, but sometimes, a class would be cancelled or moved but there was no way of knowing unless you attended class the day before. This doesn't really work for someone who might go a few times a week.

Prior to beginning this program, I had never weightlifted and did not know where to even begin to learn. Working with a personal trainers seemed too intimidating, and I did not know enough to begin learning on my own and risk an injury. This program is the happy medium!   Twice a week, you receive incredibly detailed videos for each movement/exercise where your coach talks through the proper form, suggests a starting weight, explains what the movement should feel like, what muscle groups you should activate, tips on how to protect your back & neck, etc. He equips you with all the information you need to feel comfortable enough to complete the exercise. If that weren't enough, a floor coach is always available throughout your workout to help guide you in any aspect you need. A new wristband system allows you to further personalize the program, by indicating how much interaction you would like from your coach on that given day/exercise. Want a really involved floor coach that will give you all the expert tips? Wear green! Do you prefer to be on your own and reach out to the coach yourself with questions? Wear red! The beauty of this program is in the flexibility it provides, from how involved you would like your trainer to be, to setting your own schedule.   I highly recommend this program and do not have plans of quitting anytime soon. The massage machine is awesome. The problem is the members. They NEVER put the weights back. They play on their phone when they are working on the machines, hogging them up. Go there at between 6 pm and 8:30 pm. You will have to hunt for the dumbells or weights you want. Go into stretching area, and there are discarded weights and mats all over. I find it inconsiderate and flat out RUDE! The staff are instructed to do nothing about it. In their defense, who wants to pick up weights behind grown ass adults all shift. Maybe they could put up signs or something, but it's ridiculous. Go before or after prime time, or the time you had budgeted to work out will be spent looking for equipment. The bottom line is THE MEMBERS SUCK!

Instructors are very experienced with boxing and kick boxing which is the classes I signed up for. They also don't mind helping out if your confused and even with feedback. The members in the class are all at different levels of skill which is great because you get to learn from them. As someone with 8 years of experience with Taekwondo. Boxing was very new and different for me but I had alot of fun there and lastly the workout is great!! Maybe once things calm down with what I have going on I'll return to train here.
