Gosh I wanted to love this store. It reopened under a "scale" type system. $1.99 a pound with a 5 pound minimum. Now this is hard. Items are primarily unmarked Amazon returns. You cannot open to see what is inside. Sometimes it is clothes, which weigh less than 5 pounds. So if you find something you better find more. There were bins throughout a warehouse to sort through....again unmarked without clear distinction of what is inside. I gave 2 stars because the women working were extremely friendly...but that's about it. Unfortunately I don't plan to return. read more

Well, after being closed for many months, they apparently decided to try a new concept and reopen at the same location. Previously, items were priced individually with a floating price schedule based on the day of the week. Under the "revamped" arrangement, they are now pricing items based on weight ($1.99 per pound) every day. Problem is, you can't identify what you are purchasing as you are still prohibited from inspecting the contents, and the packages are taped to the point of complete concealment. The quantity of available packages is minimal with each of the bins (about 20 of them) having a countable limited quantity in them. And in addition to this, signage on the walls indicates that the minimum purchase is 5 pounds. Therefore, if you do want a single lightweight item, you are committed to spending $10.00 on it. Many of the packages are 15-20 pounds in weight which means you are buying an unknown item of unknown condition and will be spending $30-40 for it. The items being offered are likely rejects of items that were not/could not be sold on their auction site. This is an attempt to unload the rejects. Clearly, the individuals who developed this concept don't have ANY business logic as this arrangement is so flawed that it can't help but completely fail. This place is not worth anyone's time and I had to laugh inside when I saw what they had developed as a business concept. I give them 3 months. Tops. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. They are incredibly rude, threatening and border on harassment. They give you side eye the second you walk in and don't stop until they have sufficiently bullied you. Oh and the "lady" police officer??? lmaooo...she's the worst out of the bunch. she wouldn't even let my 10 yr old son get on his phone to pass time or even sit on the floor in the corner while I shopped. I've been to so many bin places both in Indiana and Illinois and this is by far the worst. Drive a couple extra hours and check out the 3 "bargain bins" in central Illinois (Decatur, Champaign & Bloomington)..they know how to treat their customers. They even have an opening station and free wifi and encourage people to check out items before they purchase. Black Friday should most definitely be black listed. read more

What really is this place? A front for laundering money? Walked in and looked in a bin and a guy yelled at us to say we can look at stuff in the bins but not that one. Place barely had anything in it but a dozen people working. No sign saying how it works in there and the guy was very gruff. Place was dirty and had a weird mob like vibe. I rarely give a 1 star rating but if a place deserves it, that's what they get. So when I heard about this new discount store opening on the south side of Mooresville, I felt I should check it out even though I am not a fan of discount stores in general. This place was below my expectations! The premise here is that each week, a couple semis will unload their items into aisles of bins. On Friday and Saturday, everything is only $5. They are closed on Sundays, but on Monday, the prices start decreasing. So Mondays, everything drops to $3, Tuesday to $2, Wednesday to $1, and for a couple hours on Thursday mornings, everything drops to $0.25. It sounds like an interesting concept but that is where it ends. On opening day, photos were posted of people getting 32" televisions and drones for only $5! However, all sales are final as is. If there are no instructions, you figure it out. If it simply doesn't work? Too bad. No returns. I decided to go on Monday after knowing they were closed on Sunday. What I walked into was a place where shoppers with giant carts (most left them angled in the aisles so it was hard to get by) and bins of random items: some in boxes, some without markings (but you can't open them to look.) Some items were in plastic bags and others were just loose. No sense of order. Even though there was an entire day for the staff to straighten things out or group items. No effort at all. I guess when you charge so little, they don't want to pay anyone to actually make it seem better. When I compare it to a discount place like Ollie's on the other side of town, this place makes Ollie's look like an upscale experience. There you can find things by type and orderly. Here, it's just like going to a hoarder's place and wading through it. Unless you are so desperate to spend a little bit of money, I would suggest staying away and wait for a nice garage sale. It will be interesting to see if more televisions and expensive electronics continue to show up each week of if that was just a ploy to kick off the business. The most bizarre place and yet it's such a good idea. The store is mostly returned items and over flow items that they sell the goods at a discounted price based on the day of the week. Monday-$3 Tuesday-$2 Wednesday-$1 Thursday-0.25 but only from 8-10am Friday and Saturday-$5 (the day they claim to restock items). Some items you can't see because they're inside of cardboard shipping boxes. Most of the boxes themselves are damaged. It's not everyone's cup of tea.. but I actually found a few really good deals being in there for only 15 min. I'm sure you could spend hours digging through it all. Tip- it costs 3% extra to use card. So bring cash. You should know going in that the item might be broken or not all the parts inside. There are no returns. read more

First time going to the store. there are a lot of unwritten rules . someone new coming in should have knowledge. don't leave your cart unattended for less than 2 minutes they throw all our items back in the bins after we spent an hour digging for and the people around the bin grabbed them. If it's a rule then tell people Some of the employees take joy in doing this to people. . Also you can't look up information on your phone which is found on check out of all places. Also if you put in your cart it's yours. Even though almost all our treasures were put back and had to start over we didn't do bad. I guess you won some and lose some. we used to love coming here. routinely spent $100 a couple times a week. it kinda creeped us out when the older lady (owner or manager?) started walking around taping up packages as a cover for staring at you out of the top of her eyes in case she needed to drop the dime to the self-righteous lady cop that you had *gasp* PEAKED in a box. no biggie, I'm a rule follower, so no skin off my bum. THEN we noticed the quality of the items beginning to shift. instead of Amazon returns and random otherwise worthy treats, Amazon disappeared and Dollar General started infiltrating. Still had the random treat and still had a chance to find a great deal. SOON. items were 90% Dollar General, but hey 'visit our auctions online' where they had parked all the good stuff...with a buyers premium thrown in for a little more 'WHATEVA Whateva, We Do What We Want!'. THEN, without warning, BAM! $5 restock days became $7. There isn't one item that DG sells that's worth $7. Not even the store brand toilet paper that takes up LOTS of room in those bins. WHAT'S THAT? People aren't coming in as much anymore? Well we better get some Target merch in here to help appease the masses! We'll throw in hundreds and hundred of the same clothing item in 2 sizes, and some slippers in 2 colors and 2 sizes I reckon that didn't soothe us savage beasts because in just a handful of week, DROP to $5 again. There isn't any one item that DG sells that's worth $5. Not even the beat up boxes of cereal. The last time we went (middle of June), we agreed that there wasn't even anything worth waiting for the dollar day for. That's bad. IF you are looking for deals for yourself, you may be able to score a few. But as a reseller who buys large amounts, the other places that run this game are well worth the drive. Not going to say that it was a great experience. I had 20 mins to kill so checked out this place because someone I knew comes here a lot. For a bargain place, it is clean. Everyibg are in bins and you cannot open package or boxes. Most are returned items from Kohl's, Amazon and other retailers. I ended up going on a Tuesday and everything was $2. I got a TV mount, wireless keyboard and gaming case all for $6. I saw a lot of phone cases and electronic. I saw a lot of junk. Honestly, this place is great for reselling on EBay. I've been going to Black Friday for a year. My husband loves it. We have gotten numbers different items. It's like Christmas as I get home and look up the price on Amazon. We've gotten some great stuff. The staff have always been nice. One time on dollar day I was buying a can of formula and she told me I could heat a case for the same price. The police officer is annoying. However we get a kick watching her get after people for breaking the rules. We go before they open and people watch and talk to others waiting and chat with some. Every since I have gone to the store I have made money yes they are strict but they should be it is product and people act really stupid sometimes especially when they open up boxes a reseller cannot resell open boxes for the amount that they could with a closed learn your job if you are a reseller if you are not you should not go you are hurting the opportunities for the reseller to make money but I think these people were doing what they do I don't have to buy a whole pallet I can buy what I want and so far what I've noticed with a lot of people there they're not real resellers cuz if they did resale half the stuff that I would have got I wouldn't have gotten cuz I don't go in it early in the morning I go in and when everybody else is grabbing other stuff I'm looking through all the other stuff what they did not get and trust me you're missing a lot have fun keep the boxes closed read more

I would like to give 0 stars but that was not an option. They have the most hateful staff I have ever had contact with. They will not be open long at the rate they are going. They accuse people of stuff they didn't do. One lady who had never been there before and didn't know their stupid rules had a box in her cart and she peaked inside to see what it was. The employee screamed at her and told her to leave the store because she looked in the box. She said she did not realize she could look but she wanted to buy it anyway. The lady made her leave and would not let her purchase it. CRAZY! I live 80 miles from there and used to go every week but now i wouldn't drive across the street to go there. I really enjoyed the store bought two $50 mystery boxes. The only problem I have is that one of the mystery boxes contained a item that my 12 year old granddaughter had no business in seeing. So I was a little disappointed that it didn't state in the box that it may contain items not suitable for young children. Thank goodness she didn't have a clue what it was so she handed it to her mom. Would have liked to get my money back for that inappropriate item. read more

In store Friday March 26 2021 no employees wearing masks at all. Was told by smart mouthed worker that I could not look through my items in my cart and that anything put in the cart could not be removed. If you put it in your cart you must purchase it. WHO do they think they are? You can not open any items before purchase ( which I was not doing) but to tell me I am not allowed to change my mind and put something back is totally B.S. They are hurting for business as they are now open 7 days a week. This is because they sell a bunch of clothing shoes and broken items. Many items you buy are unusable due to missing or broken parts. We used to go there and get good quality electronics, many that had never been out of the box. Not any more , now a bunch of broken damaged low quality items is all they have. They have what they call treasure chests that if you find you would a prize. Usually a nicer higher priced item. Now if you find a treasure chest you must pay for it. I recently found one (only to learn I had to pay for it), and it was a Power XL Air Fryer / Grill combo appliance. When I got it home and opened it, it had grease all over it from where it had been used and the unit would not work with the main lid off when using the pan. SO I paid for another piece of junk. So I don't normally review places but after seeing all the negative reviews I have to. The only negative thing I have to say is your cart is hard to keep an eye on, and mine got moved on me twice because as you are bent over the bins digging through stuff someone will move it in order to get by. I went on a Friday and it was packed. BUT you are supposed to keep your cart by you, so I did have a security officer twice tell me I needed to keep it by me. I was a little taken back by that but realized as I was about to check out, that same officer was in a conversation with someone about what appeared to be about someone taking something from someone else's cart. So she was actually watching out for me! This is not a store everyone is going to be comfortable with. But some of you all will love it! Now what can you get? I know it changes all the time but here's some of what I got for $5 a piece. A nice tablet that works, a coil spring tool, a Xbox wireless controller!!! A big box of Frito lay potato chips mixed. A big box of Oreo, nutter butter and other cookies. A big box of the granola bars with the peanuts and almonds...natures way or something like that, name brand but I can't remember. A first aid kit. Lots of solar lights!!! Two great toys! A big box of biscotti. Two bling steering wheel covers pink a d purple! And more things that I can't think of. But for $125 I got a lot of Christmas shopping done! I loved my experience! Yes you have to dig and people are a bit intense about their digging, but lots of people were having a good time! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AT ALL! Drove 2.5 hours from where i live to come here from seeing them on a TikTok that claimed they sell unopened, unclaimed mail/packages. You get into the store and everything is literally thrown into dirty bins that turn your hands BLACK! Almost all of the items are cheap items from DOLLAR GENERAL. They charge $5 for a small items that originally came in a box of multiple, like granola bars that would come in a box. They open them and then They will sell you one single granola bar for $5. There's tons of trash and broken items. They sift through the packages and take out anything of value and then repackage them in unmarked boxes or bubble envelopes with the exact same label on all of them. They have a very rude police officer named Tammy Adair, who assists there as an employee NOT a police officer because she is out of her Jurisdiction. If you find a package that was already opened the police officer Tammy Adair, will come up to you and basically harass you and will snatch it out of your hand, take it up front, open the package completely, and then come back to you and claim that you stuffed the package because it had random items in it, and then refuse to sell any of those things to you, because "that's not how they came packaged", according to the Police officer Tammy Adair. Then when you try to talk to the manager about what the police officer Tammy Adair did, The manager will say that they will sell each individual item that was in that package to you for $5 each, so i said well that's not what Tammy Adair said to me, she said that you guys are refusing to sell anything to me in that package because apparently there was a tooth brush in a package with a knock off pair of $13 i12 airpods from walmart, the police officer Tammy Adair will interrupt you, and she will lie and say she never said any of that to you nor did she snatch anything from you and won't give you a chance to talk at all to the manager, without her input. Then tells you if you have a problem with it that you can take it up with the manager. But won't give you a chance to talk, so when you say you are trying to talk to the manager but the police officer Tammy Adair won't shut up, the police officer Tammy Adair will immediately tell you to leave because shes not gonna tolerate being disrespected, and when you try to say oh but it's okay for you to disrespect me by accusing me of package stuffing/stealing, she will then threaten to arrest you in front of your children. Arrest me for what? Saying that if she would shut up? I never told her to shut up. We have a video recording of the whole ordeal. Then she proceeded to kick my husband out when he said to me, it's okay just take the kids out to the car and i'll pay for everything" and the police officer Tammy Adair looked at him and said since your gonna be disrespectful too you can get out as well, then proceeded to look at my husband and say, you know where the door is, there's the door, go on get out or i'll arrest you in front of your kids. Sure, it's all unlabeled. Sure, it's all sold as-is. But hey, where else could I have gotten a picatinny-rail-mount bipod for my rifle FOR THREE DOLLARS? All you need is a little bit of Google-Fu, and you can figure out the identity of over half of the items. I went there once, on a Monday, and spent $60+tax -- when I got home and opened my packages, I did some research online to see what the fair market value was... it turns out, even though I spent sixty bucks, I got over three hundred dollars' worth of stuff! Some of it I'll use, some of it I'll gift, some of it I'll flip. Not sure what I'll do with the set of fuel injectors (don't know what vehicle they go to) or the box of sixteen cabinet handles, but the rest is already destined for greatness. read more
