Coming back to update my review - still 5 stars all the way. Like another reviewer, I am totally…read morelate with this mention, after promising John that I would follow up with a review. First of all, since my initial post we had Fiddler replace our garage roof. $2000 and maybe an afternoon? Bam. You'd never have known they were there except that the new roof was lovely. Second, last year we'd been experiencing a critter home invasion - well, not really, but we had raccoons living in our soffits (I think that is what they're called). There were a couple holes made and John and another guy came by within a day or so and got them sealed up again (no raccoons were harmed!) at NO CHARGE. This is not the first time they've done "small" favors just gratis. I mean. Anyway, when the time comes we will absolutely have Fiddler roofing the house. And I tell anyone I know who mentions needing roofing. John, thank you and your staff for being truly wonderful businesspeople.

I can't say enough great things about this fencing company! The owner and his two sons were…read moreoutstanding from start to finish. They were professional, personable, trustworthy, and true to their word. By the end of the project, they felt more like family than contractors. One thing that really stood out was how they prioritized our situation. Because we have dogs and frequent visits from foxes, coyotes, and other wildlife in our backyard, they moved our project up in their schedule to ensure our dogs' safety. That level of care and customer service is hard to find. We chose a beautiful gold wood-grain vinyl fence along with black chain-link fencing, and the quality of both products exceeded our expectations. The owner also took the time to show us the difference between his premium materials and the lower-quality products many competitors use or that are sold at Home Depot. Seeing the comparison firsthand made us even more confident in our decision. If you're looking for a company that delivers exceptional craftsmanship, high-quality materials, honesty, and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend them. We couldn't be happier with the finished product!

Would never involve the town to enforce anything. Weeds may be unsightly but they don't do any damage. I have discovered that the hardest part of getting anyone to do anything around my house is getting them to come over and give me an estimate. City Fence was my first call - about four or five calls followed. City Fence called back within a few hours. Sale Rep was over within two days. Quote was reasonable. Contract was written up. Eight to ten weeks was projected work time frame. It actually took 13 weeks. We've had TONS of rain. All jobs were backed up. The installers showed up and did what they had to do. Easy peasy. It took seven days from start to finish - concrete footings need to cure. Guys were fantastic. Fence looks great.

Brain fart or not, that is quite the error when they are charging $56/linear foot. Easy way to lose business as a quick sanity check ruined this experience.

I had great experience with my porch railing installation which replaced broken wrought iron with…read moreblack aluminum. (After my own research, I opted against vinyl because I wanted comparable-- black and metal. I also saw reported issues with black vinyl fading over time. Many vendors won't warranty it.) I solicited multiple quotes which were all very similar. Divine Vinyl stood out with presentation of their proposal, including a rendering and altogether more detail and care than the others-- even the national chain just sort of shoved a number at me with little detail. This was an insurance-related claim due to damage from a tree fall, so responsiveness and detail was extra important. Most importantly, I'm very happy with the final product. The railing looks great, is sturdy and is exactly what I wanted. It was a quick installation with thorough cleanup. Would recommend and glad to support a local business. Once the contract was signed, the materials take about a month to come in, so plan accordingly.
