As stated on their website Danelle is the artist doing walk ins so we just stopped in to see if she was available. She happened to be working on someone else but was available in an hour so we left and came back a little later. She was great! So nice and very informative. I have another tattoo so I was familiar with the process but she provided 2 difference sizes as well as some background info about what she thought would look best as it was a thin line tattoo and I wanted to see all the details. I'm super happy with my end result and would totally go back. The shop was also very very clean and the girls at the front desk were super nice as well! They seemed really happy that I mentioned I was from out of town as they usually just get locals but that also did make me feel more confirmed with my choice in knowing they seemed to have lots of reoccurring local customers. In my google search a comment on a Nashville Tattoos FB group popped up that Jake at Straight Edge Tattoo was running multiple flash sheets with part of the proceeds being donated to the Imagination Library in Dolly's honor. I had replied to the comment and asked if they were still running these not long after I got a response from Jake. I messaged him explaining we were only in town a few days and hoped to get in sometime the next day. Even though he was out of town for Redneck Rumble, he set us an appointment and came back to the shop the next day to get us in before we left! The hospitality was unmatched! I was so grateful that he was willing to do this for us. We chatted with some of the other artists that were getting ready to head to the show. The Dolly Parton flash was 1 for $80 or 2 for $100 and we both ended up getting 2. The shop was very clean and well maintained, they follow all the state guidelines for cleanness and proper paperwork. Every one in there was so inviting and hospitable. So we drove over there, called again from the parking lot to make sure, were told yes there's absolutely still time, paid for parking, got in the building and talked to the guy up front who basically said that there was *not* time for us to all get stuff. We had actually made sure there'd be time to do custom and that's where he said that basically they would only do flash for the rest of the day (which is not even close to what we were told on the phone). Lowkey felt embarrassed bc I had bragged on this place so much going into it but we ended up leaving and having a *fantastic* experience at a different shop that we've now made our go-to. Might've just been an off day or a new guy up front, but that was lowkey cringe.

I drove 45 mins, to this god forsaken city of traffic, just for her to tell me that the shop owner had left and only he could do it because the other artists weren't comfortable. No one there, now that my former artist Matt has left, can fill in an inch by half inch space in black? Not to mention I told her exactly what I needed done and she said walk ins were cool until close. I got there at 4PM and NO OTHER CUSTOMER WAS THERE. It was completely dead. No one in the lobby, no one in a chair. No actual artist could come over and speak to me and see that im not asking for anything crazy? I wasted $30 in gas, $20 parking, and 2 hours of my life driving. People constantly ask where I get my work done but I won't be a walking advertisement for this shop anymore.
