We have done a polymer clay class and a ice cream bowl(pottery)class. Both were super enjoyable and their staff were amazing. I found that the small classes they offer are very informative, fun-filled, and affordable. They do 2 for 1 class deals which are such a good price for what you learn and you get to take home the product you make. When I was last there, which was when I did the pottery bowl class with my husband - I was pregnant and I was seriously excited for my baby to come out as soon as possible so she can start growing up and participating in these art classes. That's how much we liked being there! If you are in a rush, but want to do some art stuff at home, you can pop in and grab some of their polymer clay kits which are super cute and easy to make. I definitely recommend 4cats to everyone who is looking for some creative outlet, but dont want to spend a ton of money for in depth art classes.

I was late for work, besides having to waste time and gas driving across the city to drop my child to camp. When I tried to contact manager later, they were not available to speak on the phone, only wanted to communicate in email. I was issued a refund in a form of a gift card that expires in one month. I had been a client of 4 cats for 15 years. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with camps for my children. Would never recommend, so disappointed. Everyone, chose another art studio

The Raw Canvas is a place that offers a free, non-judgmental environment where even people, who don't consider themselves artists or creative, can create something by themselves and be proud of their work. Their calendar online shows which painting you will paint that night. We went early for a glass of wine and they had really nice appies! Charcuterie board, flat bread were perfect. We went as a double date and I think our husbands liked it more than we did! A few other couples and a great place for a girls night! I think my mom would love this, I want to take her! Once you get seated, the instructor guides you through the painting step by step, but allows you to add your personal touch to it. Honestly it was a blast and I'm not an artist whatsoever. I liked that they played good tunes while you painted. We had so much fun tonite we definitely will go back for another date night!

Great place to go to let out any creative energy, or just to get out of the house. Nine 2.5 hour classes for just over $200 including materials and clay firing/glazing, its a pretty good deal! The North Mount Pleasant Arts Centre is where I was first discovered... okay it was me discovering…read moremy own enjoyment of painting. I had just moved to Calgary and was looking for something to wile away the hours, so I signed up for a beginners art class through the city. Lucky for me, The NMPAC (they don't call it that - or maybe they do - but I don't really want to type it out again) just happened to be down the street. It was perfect. This place is called an "Arts Centre" for a reason. They've got the facilities to host a plethora of classes from painting to sculpting to pottery. I quite enjoyed when break time came in my evening class and I got to wander the halls a bit and poke my head in to see what other classes were doing or take a look at the more recent projects hanging on the walls. It almost felt like elementary school in that sense... just as fun, but with a bit more skill. Reminiscing has me wanting to take another class soon... time to peruse the fall/winter schedule.

Needless to say she was over the moon excited and couldn't wait for summer camp. It was also her first ALL day camp. She loved it. By the end of her camp week the amount of art work she had compiled to bring home was mind boggling. Everyone there was super nice & friendly and she was at ease immediately. Parking and drop off was also easy. I'm pretty confident we will be back here for more summer camps and then some! Really great place!
