I am an HSE Manager for a construction company and I booked one of my foreman into this course…read moreabout 2 weeks ago. He got called away last minute, so I had to call and get a booking switched around to a different foreman instead. The course was to be the next day and I know there is a 72 hour policy, but they were accommodating and seemed to understand and helped me out. Impressed, I decided to book a group of my workers in there 2 weeks later. Being in construction, getting last minute requests can happen a lot in this industry and yet again one of them was called away but this time there was a good amount of days between classes, being Friday and the course was on Monday. This time I was completely shut down on my request and now that money is wasted. I understand it was approx 68 hours before the course this time but the girl proceeded to tell me maybe someone "made an exception that day" but they wouldn't do anything this time, even though I booked more people than last time. There is something to be said for return business in the training industry and the complete rigidity here is a total shame, as construction companies often look for good training centres and stick with them, once they find them. This won't be the case with us though, I'll book elsewhere for my workers, moving forward. There were no complaints from my workers on the actual course or instructors, this is simply about customer service.

I'm very disappointed to have to write this review. I've had to contact customer service and follow…read moreup multiple times without resolution. First Aid Calgary had up until a couple of weeks ago very clearly listed on their website that their health care provider level cpr courses were valid for THREE YEARS, however when I did my recertification course with them last year, my certificate was only valid for 1 year. After emailing multiple times to inquire and force them to follow up with me, they responded that they're matching AHS requirements (I don't follow AHS, this is irrelevant to me and many others) and only providing certificates for a year. I very politely asked them to honour what was literally still listed on their website 2 weeks ago and extend my certificate and they've ghosted me and refused to even acknowledge their mistake or apologize for the mixup or confusion. They've conveniently changed their website now to actually state what they're offering but still won't even email me back or make right THEIR mistake. They list themselves as the cheapest option in the city but it's because they force you to come yearly even when it isn't required. I will absolutely never use or recommend them again and ensure my colleagues all know how they treat customers. VERY poor customer service and support. Do your CPR training elsewhere.
