They've also got tons of selection too! Highly recommend! We are so glad we stopped here.

My family, friends, and I have been supporting Jurassic Fireworks since they first opened, but we…read morewill no longer be returning due to their deceptive and predatory sales tactics. They advertise a massive "65% off storewide" sale, but it is entirely artificial. Their strategy is to mark base prices up 2 to 3 times higher than retail standard, making their discounted prices just standard everyday pricing. Furthermore, their "Buy 1, Get 2 Free" mortar deal is a complete illusion--when you're paying triple the standard price for the initial box, you're actually just paying full retail price for all three. To make matters worse, their marketing actively tricks customers by implying you can combine the "Buy 1, Get 2 Free" deal with an additional 50% off text coupon. You only realize the catch when you reach the register, relying on the awkwardness and embarrassment of the situation so customers won't put items back after standing in line. Places like Pyro City offer significantly lower everyday prices without needing to rely on misleading gimmicks or artificial markups. We refuse to continue funding greedy and dishonest business practices.

This is my favorite gun shop in Cheyenne. I've been to them all. The staff is very friendly, and…read moreyou can talk about a lot more than just guns, so it's fun to hang out a while when you have some free time. They never make you feel rushed, and very importantly, they understand all the laws surrounding firearms transfers, so you don't get stupid answers like you do at a lot of chain stores. I have purchased several items here, not just guns, and they always appreciate every sale, no matter how small. I had some gunsmithing done and wasn't real impressed, but they made it right, I'm glad they stand by their work. Ownership changed hands in the past year or maybe a little more, not exactly sure on the time frame, but I have only dealt with the new owners, so this review is only on the current staff.

It's a mixed bag with this place. I had two straight forward and good transactions with the usual…read morestaff but one time I came in trying to sell a custom rifle and it was pretty sketch. The young guy at the counter offered me one price which was pretty reasonable considering I knew I was selling for a loss. Then he asked the opinion from some older guy in the back Id never met before. I told him the retail price for the rifle and what the scope and chassis was worth when I got them and what I was hoping to get, to start haggling down but he told me my higher end Vortex scope wasn't shit cause of the brand haha. I mean vortex isn't great but that's a pretty weird way to start the conversation. Especially considering I was already asking for just over half the cost of everything bought separately. After he left, I asked the young guy about his original offer and he said I can't buy it from you for that now, like I snapped the rifle in half or something haha. This mustve been their afternoon crew because they looked and did business like pawn shop guys. It seemed a lot like they were trying to nick a really nice custom rifle from me for a quarter of the price just to upsell it because I went in acting like I didn't know nothing. Anyhow I'd do business with the usual dudes over Rocky Mountain but some of their newer guys they had working later were questionable to say the least.
