The items were well merchandised, so you could actually shop and see everything. So many places just dump as much as possible into a space and it becomes overwhelming. You don't appreciate the specialness of any of the items when they are piled on top of one another. The owners were great, present and helpful, but let you shop and look around without hovering. They've curated a really nice space and we look forward to coming back. (Also, the prices were very reasonable considering the quality!)

We recommend them to everyone we know and have even introduce friends and families who are shopping for unique pieces of furniture or items to their store. Even if you aren't really shopping but want a cool experience with antique or Upcycle items I recommend checking them out!

They seem pretty picky about what they buy which is a good thing -- it means the racks are full of interesting stuff, often from higher end places you would usually have to get in NoVA. Also I've come to really appreciate how everything is organized clearly by size, how the racks are full but not overfull to where it's hard to go through them, and how the staff are friendly but also let you browse unbothered if you want. I was super glad to see that this business is staying open after the previous owner retired -- it's a gem and would definitely be missed.

Second hand is great on the wallet and the world! I was only going in to browse this time, as I had no immediate need for anything (in fact we're just about to move, so I'm trying to purge, not gain anything else) but I was tempted by a few things still! On top of secondhand clothing, shoes, and jewelry they also have a selection of local goods/crafts for sale including soaps, other toiletries and jewelry. It's an adorable shop run by an amazing group of incredible, caring people who put a great deal of time and effort into curating a welcoming environment for people from all walks of life. They are very selective about the items that they agree to consign, so shoppers have a ton of high-quality, in-style options to choose from. It's honestly dangerous to go in there because there is always something cute that I MUST have; however, if you have a clothing problem like I do, when you're not buying new, you can at least shop with a clean conscience! On the other end, the consignment process is simple, clear, and quick, and you are reasonably compensated when your items sell, especially if you opt for store credit payout. The dressing rooms are honestly my favorite part. When you walk in, you're greeted by hundreds of sticky notes with positive affirmations posted by other shoppers. It's like the positivity and immediate camaraderie you find in the womens' restroom at a club (but without all of the bottom-shelf liquor). Shop small, and shop secondhand!
