The items were well merchandised, so you could actually shop and see everything. So many places just dump as much as possible into a space and it becomes overwhelming. You don't appreciate the specialness of any of the items when they are piled on top of one another. The owners were great, present and helpful, but let you shop and look around without hovering. We have bought multiple large items and go to their store first when looking for things, even small gifts. They take time to build relationships with their customers and make accommodations to fit their needs. We recommend them to everyone we know and have even introduce friends and families who are shopping for unique pieces of furniture or items to their store. Even if you aren't really shopping but want a cool experience with antique or Upcycle items I recommend checking them out!

The friendly older lady behind the counter left us alone to wander and explore after a quick greeting. I found a cute bumblebee brooch (a new collection favorite of mine) at the jewelry counter up front she was sitting behind and wandered around the rest of the store looking at everything. There are a few small rooms downstairs and some back stairs that lead up into three more rooms, one of which in the back facing the street with a wall of windows is large and open and has a ton of clothing items, shoes, and sunglasses. We found hundreds of sunglasses of every style and shape and had a great time trying them on and imaging costume parties for each style. Prices are fair for the most part and they have a little of everything and a lot of some things. This is worth a trip inside if you like antiquing and if you are in downtown Staunton and have some time. There are a bunch of small shops on the street and parallel or side street 2-hour parking can easily be found nearby.

When I picked my jewelry up recently, it was shoved into a tiny bag without any wrapping and some of it was damaged. If they tell you they want your items, check back regularly to make sure they are not hidden away in the back of the store (ie not on display!) Also, they took 50% which is much higher than most consignment shops- look around for others in neighboring towns... Finally, if Toni she's called out on something, she blames it on her sister who is the silent owner!
