They showed up again to walk the roof with the adjuster pointing out areas that needed attention. I was able to get a full roof replacement. Once the work was scheduled,which was very quick, their team dropped off the supplies on the eve of the scheduled work date. Slaughter comes back and does the crap bad companies do and submit to the insurance for $18k. Except the insurance wouldn't cover it because they quoted $11k. Long story short we ended up having to pay out of pocket $7k. Do not trust them. It might be "just the insurance business" but they are all crooks. To top it off they gave us a "coupon" for $800 and wouldn't honor it at the end of the work.
