Within 500 miles, he had to buy new front end tires (another $600) due to the miscalculation of the alignment. We just bought these tires brand new on March 30th of this year. He also had to pay a different shop to do another, proper alignment, and we've had no issues with the truck since. When he called to tell Turner Tire about it, the woman who answered was very nice and told him to bring the truck in along with the paperwork from the shop that did the second alignment. He did that today and again, she was very nice. However, a man came out to speak with him and basically said too bad. It's the other shop's word against his and he won't do anything about it. So don't go here unless you like wasting money on services and want to buy new tires right after having an alignment. $700 down the drain is an expensive lesson for average people like us.

Less than FIVE minutes after leaving the shop, I started experiencing serious electrical issues that I had NEVER had before. Whenever I go above about 3,500 RPM, my voltage gauge spikes and overcharges. My radio shuts off, and the electrical system goes haywire. This started immediately after the service -- not days later, not weeks later -- but right after pulling out. Before this visit, my truck had zero charging issues. Now I'm dealing with what appears to be alternator overcharging or wiring damage -- something that can destroy a battery and electrical system if not handled properly. What made this even worse was the way it was handled. When I called to explain what was happening and ask for help, they hung up on me. That is completely unprofessional. I trusted them with a simple fluid change. Instead, I left with a potentially expensive electrical problem and zero accountability. Very disappointed.

They said that we could get a rental, but that we would have to pay for it ourselves and they would reimburse us after the claim was closed. So we would have to be out thousands for a rental - and then trust them to reimburse us. If you need a new transmission, this would be the place to go.

I told her to take it to my buddy Danny at Pro Transmissions & Automotive who I've known for half of my life for a second opinion. Danny did what Danny does: he properly diagnosed the problem and determined that the van did not need an entirely new engine. His team replaced the necessary gaskets, completed the head-gasket and timing job, and got my sister back on the road for about half of what the other shop had quoted. Honest diagnosis, quality work, and a huge amount of money saved. If you're facing an expensive repair, take your vehicle to Danny before giving up on it.
