I looked around desperately to find the source of the horrible smell. I saw some animal droppings and almost wanted to immediately puke. At this point, I knew it wasn't some rotting peach that must've fallen out of the grocery bag in the back and instead it was some dead animal. (Well, I was hoping it was dead at this point. It would've been far worse if the animal was still alive) So, I found a dead rat in my middle console. Didn't notice it immediately since I had a bunch of papers and other electronics I had dumped in there. I quickly got some gloves and sticks and removed the dead rat. There were a bunch of half eaten cookie pieces all over as well. (The rat opened up some packets of cookies and went to town on them before succumbing to the heat inside the HOT Georgian Sun) Normally my car is kept pretty clean. My wife and I try to avoid eating anything inside the car. This was going to involve my normal minor vacuuming and cleaning. I put out a "request for Quote" from a few auto detailing companies nearby me. Immediately got one reply saying "this is outside their scope and cannot help." Got a few others with really high rates, and I explained to them the rat has been disposed and that it's a smell issue. Finally, got a reasonable quote back from North GA Mobile detailing. The two brothers came right on time as promised and did an amazing job. The interior looks and smells brand new. They took about 90 minutes to really clean the inside. A great couple of guys that truly put in honest work for a fair price. When it comes to mobile detailing, there are certainly choices out there. But I stood outside talking to these guys while they worked the entire time. They worked their ass off to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. Due to their work ethic and their commitment to customer service, I would highly recommend them. I would most certainly use them again for the rest of my vehicles.

Over the course of two weeks, I had reached out to multiple big dealers regarding a variety of vehicle options, but never finding quite the right fit that met my needs. By chance, I happened across a listing for a 2026 Nissan LEAF EV with only 100 miles on it listed at JRS. It was an option that I had previously been interested in, but the new prices for anything above a base model were more than I wanted to do. Ray, the owner of JRS, had managed to scoop this one up from the manufacturer's corporate fleet, nearly unused, and offered it at a very reasonable price. I reached out and received an immediate response from Ray who, over the next several days, worked with me in good faith as I negotiated insurance and GAP processing issues on my previous car with the bank (who was also issuing the new loan and was holding things up because of issues with their GAP company and a data breach). Ray never pressured for a deposit and was very understanding throughout the process. He repeatedly updated and resubmitted paperwork every time the bank asked for a new addition and never complained. In the end, we got to the weekend and he had done everything necessary to get the bank to issue the check on the new loan and had the car waxed and detailed, waiting for us when we arrived. Small, selective lot, mainly focused on commercial trucks and vans, but a great deal and a great experience from start to finish for us buying a nearly-new personal vehicle. Ray is about as OCD as I am when it comes to the condition of his vehicles, as evidenced by the care he took in trying to make sure the car was spotless when we picked it up. He was more concerned with it than we were. My wife and I did a quick test drive, completed the last of the paperwork and were on our way with our new ride in less than an hour. No games, no bait-and-switch, no additional junk fees tacked on (he actually reduced the price by a few hundred dollars for us). Everything went exactly as you'd want it to go when buying a car. JRS Auto Buyers was, surprisingly, a pleasure to do business with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family, and would most certainly do business with them again in the future should the opportunity exist.
