I'm specifically referring to my 200lb sandbag. I'm allowed to squat 500lbs, deadlift 600lbs, and leg press 800, but 200lbs was too heavy/dangerous!? Go figure. The roof leaked during heavy rain in the recent past, and caused me to slip and get injured. I was offered nothing for my pain/suffering. The staff can sometimes be found sitting on stationary bikes watching tv while the gym needs attention. However, after a few decades I can at least say the equipment is up to date. There are a lot of amenities (basketball court, pool, sauna, indoor track....just to name a few). The gym is clean, and the other gym-goers are friendly. Issues brought to the attention of staff are addressed. 5/5 if you're looking for a family gym, 3/5 for myself and anyone serious about fitness or competing in strength sports. They do offer a military discount, and I value that greatly.

Fox News is on all the tv's and if you request to change the channel the senior lose their minds. The locker rooms are disgusting and the equipment is not well maintained. There is a committee, a website, and dues. Its totally a legit situation. The only confusion on choosing the host family and city is travel and accommodations and activities to meld old and young. Let's get all generations to have a good time. Well, good ol' cousin Rennie did good this year picking this park. I suppose if you live in the area you will know about the park. Because its in the middle of farms and land and.... The drive getting their was lengthy leaving the Princeton area. But what a gem. It is the most perfect place for kids, family's and family reunions! On our way back to our family's tent we passed a pool, sand volleyball, basketball courts, tennis courts more tents and family's frolicking about. Our tent was the last one down the path, close to the paddle boats, kayaks, zip-line, horseshoes, handball and archery. The tent had ample seating and was catered. They didn't skip a beat with the food. They had potato salad, macaroni salad, pasta salads, green salad, corn on the cob, beans, ribs, chicken, sausage and peppers, pulled pork, brisket, macaroni. Desert had cakes, several types of moist cookies, and and entire ice cream deep freeze full of various yummy pops. They had evertyhting you could want in a BBQ and day activities. It was kinda crazy actually how inclusive this place is. Its like a summer camp with great food. We all loved it. And this is why it was voted as next years reunion destination!

His entire staff is impeccably trained - everyone always has a smile and warm/welcoming words (and it's not fake, it's the culture there). Not only are the facilities great (GAGA pits, 2 pools, high ropes course, giant zip line, archery, arts & crafts, drama, etc etc and fields for: baseball, soccer, flag football and lacrosse...the kids even get to play dodge ball) but the staff is simply amazing - incredibly supportive and patient, always there to help and encourage. Campers not only learn how to win but more importantly they learn how to lose and have sportsmanship. The camp has an underlying philosophy based around helping each child become their superstar self - excelling at something.
