She has moved through 3 classrooms so far, based on stages and age groups, and has loved every one of her teachers. She is learning a great deal there while having fun. She loves the art projects she creates, talks about her friends and the books they have listened to and discussed at story time, and even came home last month counting to 10 in Spanish (at 2 1/2). They also have wonderful special visitors like Mr. Scott (whom my daughter adores). I can not say enough good things about the owners, Christine and Bill, and their wonderful staff of caring teachers. They genuinely seem to love each and every child there. While I, too have voiced certain concerns with the center about my children, I want to also acknowledge how pleased I am with my sons growth and stability in his current class (Blue Horses). Miss Maria and Miss Amanda (admin) have both been extremely supportive and kind about hearing our concerns that we have had in the past, and for that I thank them. But I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge the amazing job that Miss Haley has done with our son. She has been patient, kind, and extremely supportive of him. I know how challenging most 3 year olds can be, and he is NO exception. But Miss Haley has treated him so fairly and I have seen nothing but growth in him since she has been with Lightbridge. He has learned invaluable life skills about socialization that I would have never been able to teach him at home, and his academic progress has sky-rocketed. You have a very special/professional teacher in Miss Haley and I just want to give her the recognition she deserves. The caretakers are very warm, patient, and attentive; as well as Miss Katha and Mr. Adam in the front office who are very personable and receptive. Honestly speaking - I think any parent would rather stay home with their kids all day long. But for those who have to work (which are most!) - Goddard School in Tinton Falls is certainly a very reassuring option.

The place is very clean and the room was the perfect size, big enough that the room did not feel cramped but small enough that you are able to keep an eye on every child. Children from ages 1 to about 8 were at the party and there were activities suitable for all ages. I really enjoyed that they let the kids interchange between free play and singing and dancing together with bells, parachutes, bean bags, and bubbles. The kids were not forced to do one thing for too long. I also liked that you are able to bring outside food which allowed for us to stay within our budget and also allowed us to feed all the kids as well as their parents.
