They attention and care they provide is second to none! As with most camps, they hurt many teens which is also great for them to learn but there's also plenty of adults to ensure all goes well! I always look forward to working there because it's such a great day! I highly recommend them and guarantee you'll be equally impressed! If I had young children, I wouldn't hesitate to enroll them!! Anyone who says different more than likely is the type that doesn't accept responsibility for their actions and inactions!! I could ramble on forever but hopefully you get the idea! Don't blame the camp counselors for your own issues! It's like blaming a teacher for a kid that doesn't so their homework and study!

She's made wonderful, lasting friendships with the other campers and really looks forward to every day. In a small camp like this, the staff makes or breaks it. This staff is unbelievable- in addition to being great leaders, truly show them kindness and love. There's great staff longevity too. We see the same smiling faces year after year. There are plenty of activities to keep the kids engaged all day long. The drop-off and pick-up is seamless. The facility itself is clean, organized and adorable. The kids get plenty of opportunities to play and move in the fresh air with plenty of shaded structure and indoor room when the weather dictates. The biggest indication for me that it's a great place is my daughter's unwillingness to leave at the end of the day. Joe and Janice are amazing every step of the way starting with registration to picking up the kids. The camp has a bus company they partner with to make it easier for working families and late stay available. The Director likes to say the camp is one of the only places kids today can get the experiences we had growing up, being able to just go out and play with your friends in a safe, but not stifling environment (I'm sure I'm paraphrasing how he puts it, but that's the message I've always gotten). I think that's a fair assessment of it. Also, the other thing I love about the place is that my two kids have very divergent interests, but there is so much to do there that there are many activities that speak to both of them. In short, it is definitely a place we recommend, and will be continuing to use going forward.

As an OPWDD family, coordinating approvals, support brokerage, and Fiscal Intermediary (FI) requirements can already be extremely time-consuming, and navigating those systems often causes significant delays that are outside a family's control. I was hoping for greater flexibility and collaboration during the enrollment process, but instead felt that the process became increasingly difficult and ultimately decided not to move forward. I appreciate the importance of ensuring campers are a good fit, but I believe families navigating complex disability-service systems would benefit from more understanding, clear communication, and flexibility throughout the admissions process.

What a relief to have an indoor play space with classes for babies and young kids in the…read moreneighborhood. This gem has been greatly needed in an area with a growing demographic of babies and new parents. I've taken my son to the following classes: Babies in motion, Gym babies, and Musical Tots. We also go to open play about twice a week. What's great is that you get a large number of open plays when you sign up for a class. You sign up for a weekly class (or two different ones if you'd like), and they're very accommodating with makeups if your baby happens to nap at your schedule time, so it's money well spent. They have all kinds of props and gym structures, as well as trampolines and musical instruments. Having rambunctious babies and toddlers cooped up in the apartment during this cold weather isn't great-so this place is definitely meeting a need. Mike and Chanelle who do musical tots are truly exceptional- high energy and extremely talented musician and singers. We have Kristen for our regular gym class and she's great, my son really likes her. Truth be told not all staff are top notch but none are bad. The differences are more pronounced when going to open play depending on who the assigned staff member is- some will take out different toys and props, some won't or barely will. The main reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they've been taking a long time to cover up the metal spokes that stick out of the bars-not safe for little ones and this issue has been brought up to them several times since they opened in Sept. Other than that, we're very happy campers. Oh and if you have a child who's 2.5 yrs or above, take advantage of their pajama parties! I wish we could.
