Tried opening my garage door with no success and noticed that the spring at the top of the door was broken. I prefer using local contractors. There are a number of companies from Phoenix and Prescott who include Flagstaff in their service area but they only come up here a few days a week and what do you do if you have to call them back? I called BK before they opened and left a message and George called back. He told me they were completely booked but he'd swing by and get the door open so I could move my cars out and then come back over the weekend to fix the door. That worked for me. When he showed up he said he had a cancellation so he'd be able to fix the door after all. And that he did. About 45 minutes later the new spring was installed, the door and the opener were inspected, serviced, and adjusted. Very good experience. read more

We asked for an estimate, he questioned our choice when we went with someone else, and his responses came across unprofessional and dismissive. read more

I highly recommend BK Garage Doors. We had a broken spring and George got us on the schedule even though he was super busy. He came out and replaced the spring for a very reasonable price. Now everything is up and running. Thanks! read more

George was incredible- our garage door stopped working over the weekend and George answered on the first call. He was able to quote us great prices (the competitors price was over 600$ more for the same quote). He and his team got out here early Monday and fixed everything fast and effective. Super professional and knowledgeable and very happy with this company! read more

So quick and efficient! One of the tension springs for our garage door broke on a Friday holding our car hostage! A company we had used previously said they could not come out until Tuesday and then I saw the reviews for BK Garage Doors and George answered the phone. He quoted us a reasonable price and said he could be there later in the afternoon which was about three hours. George and his associate arrived with masks on which is really important under the current circumstances. They had to enter our house to get to the garage and they put shoe covers on that I provided but also offered to take their shoes off. Service was quick and with the tuneup that was given to our garage door and mechanics, it's working like new! We we're also told that the garage door was so heavy because it's well-made! George and his associate were thorough with everything they did! We will definitely use them again if needed! Thank you George for releasing the hostage! read more

I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND BK GARAGE DOORS BK was one of the first companies I worked with after moving to Flagstaff. My home inspector had identified failing springs on my heavy garage door. George was out on time, as promised. He replaced my garage springs, paired my remotes and basically got me up and running in no time. I found him to be professional and polite. His prices were fair. My garage door works perfectly now. I would definitely recommend BK and George to anyone needing help with their garage doors. read more

We had a top panel of a Wayne Dalton garage door become damaged, when the original panel did not have the metal bar installed. We called around looking for quote to replace. George, of BK Garage Doors was the only one to provide feedback on what we needed, and the price was reasonable. It did take time to receive replacement, by no fault of BK Garage. The lead time was long, because of supply shortages, due to pandemic issues. George sent Chris and his crew to replace the top panel. They were very professional, worked efficiently, and were knowledgeable of what needed to be done, and polite. They double checked everything to make sure the door operated flawlessly. I would hire their services if I ever need in the future. I would most definitely recommend them. They earned their 5-stars! read more

We were on a tight timeline! George was willing to work us into his very busy schedule which was appreciated. He was able to identify our problem and quickly fixed it the same day. His pricing was quite reasonable and his kind demeanor was a plus. We will definitely recommend his services to others and if we have future garage door needs, he will be our first call. read more

Extremely responsive and fixed our garage door in under an hour. Their rates are amazing as well! Five stars!

We had a need for the replacement of an old and unique seal on our door. George and team were responsive, efficient, and very reasonably priced. We will use them again! read more

WOW, these guys are really, really good. We built our new home in 2004 so the garage doors are 16 years old. One of the brackets broke on one garage door that is used the most. They came out and replaced the bracket with a heavy duty bracket, oiled the runners and checked out the garage door motor. They pointed out that the spring on the door used the most was showing wear and should replace it before it breaks down later and a call later. The next time out they replaced the spring and I suggested replacing the bracket on the 2nd most used door with a heavy duty bracket. The spring and bracket were replaced on the 2nd visit and they went about again checking the 3 motors and runners. This was the first time I have used BK Garage Doors, they were outstanding and if we have issues in the future will use them again. read more

Our garage door stopped working over the Xmas holiday. I called BK Garage Doors the day after Xmas and George was able to come to the house the same day and repair the door. Turns out that the garage door only needed a service tuning and he was able to get everything working. The price was extremely reasonable ($110) and George also programmed two of my garage door remotes while he was onsite. I highly recommend BK Garage Doors! read more

No show - no calls just broken promises several times- call someone else...............

George has been out numerous times to the rental property we are living at. He always shows up promptly and gets the job done right. Most recently he had to replace the entire door for us. He came out and had it fixed in no time. George wears a mask at all times and is professional. This is a honest and reliable business to have in our town! read more

I appreciated how George sold me exactly what I needed and didn't try to update me on what I didn't need. He gave me a thorough consultation and a military discount. He is easy to get a hold of and completed the installation in a timely manner. I also love that he is local. I highly recommend him. read more

Had an emergency repair need right before a snowstorm. George and the team were highly responsive, seemed to really care about my family's needs and fit us into their schedule. Less than 36 hours later, our spring was replaced, all components were serviced and our garage door is operating better than it ever has. Fantastic response time, workmanship, value and customer service. Look no further than BK! read more

Our garage door springs broke with our car IN the garage and an urgent DMV appointment the following day. George immediately called me back (after work hours too), added us into his already packed schedule, and got it all working in no time. BK Garage Doors made the entire process stress free and I am so happy to have them in Flagstaff. 10/10 would recommend! read more

BK Garage Doors is awesome. He couldn't make it the same day due to appointments, so he analyzed my 20 year old garage issue right over the phone and helped me fix it for free. He could have left me high and dry until the next week, but he has a lot of integrity and is very fair. Thanks BK! You rock! read more

I called to set up an appointment because I thought the garage door was off the track or chain or something. I sent him a video of what it looked like. He immediately called me back and walked me through how to reset it. He said it was a super easy fix and he would hate to have to come and charge. The fact that he helped me over the phone without charging me was incredibly appreciated. When I have any other issues I definitely will use him because of his help. read more

One of the kids scooters was blocking the garage from closing got jammed and cause the garage door to become lopsided around 6:30-7 at night. We called and left a message to a number on the garage door. Thankfully the following morning we got a call from George from BK and said he would come as soon as he was done from another job and sure enough he came within the half hour and was able to fix what was needed and gave us some great info. George was nice, very informative, and thorough and definitely recommend him to anyone. Thank you George. read more

We found BK Garage Door on accident, we had been unsatisfied with another company in town. I work at a property management company in town, and we frequently need garages serviced. George answered my call quickly, he called the tenant and set up the appointment so I didn't need to be the middle man. He also got the tenant taken care of with in a day or two. The tenant had been waiting, for weeks, to hear from the other company. We are very happy with his work and will be calling him for all our garage door needs! read more

I filled out the contact form on BK doors website on Monday night at 6:40 PM then expect a reply within the hour but I got one. The email reply said I could email or give them a call. I called immediately and my surprise someone picked up the phone George , he said he'd be happy to come out take a look we scheduled it for a day later. Initially I had some ideas I'm possibly installing garage door opener George came out assess situation and gave me my options. Because of the issues in age of the door to fix it the way I wanted to I would have to replace all panels and it turned out the door opener with install was a little bit out of my budget today. So I chose to have him repair the issue fixed opening function and in no time the door was feeling brand-new. read more

I've had BK Garage doors work on my garage doors for 3.5 years now, and I have nothing but GREAT things to say. George is very committed to customer service. He always answers his phone, and makes me feel like a priority every time he comes to my house. He does everything he can to keep my garage doors working well, especially when that means doing small repairs now that will keep them in good working condition to prevent future repairs or replacement. Bottom line, he wants my garage doors to work for the long run rather than getting a big payout for future replacements. I wish every company operated this way! read more

I submitted a request for an online quote after business hours, and within an hour George responded. While he could not get out the next day, within 36 hours he was at our home. He repaired our door for less than the initial quote. He communicated prior to arriving and showed up ON TIME as promised. He was crazy busy, running all over Northern AZ but took our broken garage door seriously and made time in his schedule for us. We will definitely use George at BK Garage Doors again, and will surely recommend him to friends and neighbors! read more

We purchased a townhome in Flagstaff about 15 months ago. Our garage door was 'original' 1987, and we clearly needed a new door/opener. I contacted three local vendors and selected BK Garage. Our house was brand new and KB homes installed our garage door in wrong. George was very knowledgable and instead of trying to get us to pay for unneeded expenses he educated us on what the company needed to fix. Then George came back out and inspected it again, he said it still wasn't right and even though it was working now in a few years it would break again. Thank you George for all of your help and saving us tons of money! read more

George, the owner, flat-out knows garage doors! Mine was jamming up and would not close. The clicking and flashing light was driving me and my wife crazy. After I had spent a bunch of time fiddling around with the sensors and track myself (fortunately, I didn't break anything), I called George. He got back to me shortly after I left a voice mail and fixed my door later that same day, which was awesome. His price was fair and he pleasantly gave me advice on door maintenance. I can highly recommend him and do so without any reservation. read more
