This place is also a "mini mart" which has a small selection of grocery items and the items of a deli. It is similar to a Handy Pantry. The woman behind the deli counter was efficient and friendly. AVOID this place. Usually, I try to support local businesses but today they tried to charge me $22…read morefor one quart of 5W-30 motor oil (not synthetic). That's price gouging! When I questioned the woman behind the counter, she was insistent, but relented when I took back my $20 bill and told her I was in the week before and bought the same oil for $12 (that is double the price of what Home Depot charges: $5.99). She also looked it up on the Emporium True Value Hardware website (the other hardware store in town, minutes away on Main Street) and said it was $9.99 there. So I agreed to pay $12 + tax again . If I didn't say anything, they would've charged $22 plus tax. I think they just make up prices when you get to the counter (no price on item). The New York State Attorney General should look into their price gouging.
