I have lived in Texas my entire life, and, growing up in the 1970's donuts were a staple on the weekend mornings, so I have eaten my fair share of them throughout the years. Whenever I travel I will occasionally stop for donuts at a local spot (don't even get me started talking about how much I loathe Dunkin Donuts) in whatever state/city I happen to be in and the result is almost always the same - disappointment in the freshness, taste and overall quality of the donuts. Njoy has a wide variety of donuts which they make fresh every morning and the taste and freshness is amazing!! They always seem to be putting out fresh donuts throughout the mornings! Even as I write this I want one of Njoy's donuts!! This place gets my highest rating!!

The order wasn't ready when we arrived for pickup, so we were rushed and did not know until we got to the party that we didn't get the correct amount of decorated donuts. The donuts as an entire order were fresh and delicious, but still disappointing that we didn't get what we ordered (and paid for-custom decorated) They did give us a nice quantity of "bonus " donut holes that was a nice touch. I would be careful to make sure that they clearly understand what you are asking for if you place a custom order as you are required to pay upfront.

About half an hour later my stomach got very distended and the pain was acute. I will spare you the deets but let me just say that I will now and forever think about how long the meat has been sitting out of refrigeration! If they make these before they open they can easily sit out for 8 hours. If they made them the day before or don't use proper hygiene or any number of awful things you can get very ill! It seriously took me TEN days to recover from this and I am a very healthy person who has not been sick in years. I'd hate to think what would have happened to someone who's health is compromised in some way. Just beware of these places that have meat sitting out for extended periods of time.
