Looking at your face. I found it depressing. However, I found the solution. I wasn't upset about my face. I was upset at how terrible my hair looked. So I came to Vinny's, and got a fade from barber Pia. Now, I'm still miserable at work, but I look damn good with this fade.

She is consistently showing up late for the appts. One time she just No showed and would not answer calls. Even after that my son's dad decided to go to her again. After 30 minutes past our appt. time, we asked how much longer she'd be and she looked confused as if she didn't even know us or know of the appt. She said she was almost done when clearly she was barely going to start braiding someone else. We just left. If we didn't like Karl so much, I would never step foot in there again because of how disrespected I felt. So the 5 stars are for Karl and the other barbers...we'll just stick to haircuts here and find someone else for braids. Just wanted to warn anyone that's looking for a braider. Look elsewhere!

If i need a haircut beyond my once a week or if I want to stop in everyday for a haircut, it's all under my membership. The Woodlands location had only one barber/stylist (Sabrina P), that could taper or fade appropriately... but the manager has hired someone else with the skills to handle textured hair (that's code for ethnic hair - Black or Latino). Again, the convenience of having a set appointment and knowing exactly when you will start and finish is a big plus for me, along with the membership that allows me to get as many haircuts as I want, whenever I want, is a huge draw. With any place, some barbers/stylist are better then others, but I know Sabrina P is in the "Best of the Best" category, regardless of hair or preferred style.

To my surprise, American Express notified me yesterday (Labor Day, no less) of a $499 pending charge and asked me to confirm I approved it. I did not, so they blocked the charge. When I called today, I was met with scripted responses repeatedly stating that I had agreed to automatic renewal indefinitely. After requesting a manager, I received the same scripted response, with no flexibility or attempt to resolve the issue. For context: I have been a loyal member for almost five years, bringing my son in twice a month as well. I intended to extend my membership for a year, not be forced into a six-month auto-renewal without notification. Their response was essentially: "We'll continue to charge your card or you'll have a balance." Um...no...American Express already blocked the charge due to lack of authorization. This entire experience from lack of notice to unhelpful staff demonstrates poor management and zero effort in customer retention. It's disappointing to see a long-time member treated this way. Goodbye, Boardroom. Clearly, customer service and loyalty are not a priority here.

Southern hospitality with a hint of Southern California swagger…read more I've been all over. I've had my haircut from a lot of people. I have to say (contrary to popular belief) that Southern California barbers do it differently. Normally you get one of two things, you either get a great haircut but no personal connection, or you get a great connection and an alright haircut. This place provides both, and I can appreciate that. When I say I'm a barber snob, I mean it, and I'm unapologetic about it. I've been cutting hair for the better part of a decade, and I know when someone is not confident, and incompetent. Annie is nothing of the sort. The shop is clean and welcoming. Very speakeasy style, which I can appreciate. The staff is very enthusiastic and kind, and made great conversation. They understand hair and understand the intricacies behind the art that is barbering, making for a great haircut. If you're looking for a place to get your haircut, or hang out with good people, this is the place.
