I went in with no expectations. Found them online and took a shot. So glad I did. You would be amazed at how hard it is to find a barber that truly does a great fade. I found them here. My barber was named Chansirel, and he is talented. The vibe was old school barber shop. Good humor, debate, opinions and more jokes. Everyone was friendly but real. Paid a few bucks more than most places, but honestly, it was more than worth every penny. Already getting compliments on my cut. More importantly, I have already recommended them to about 5 people. Razor Sharp 3000 barbershop in Humble, Texas is a true gem! I must commend barber DJ Taber on his Excellent skills. He is a true professional. My family and I flew into IAH airport to visit family over the weekend. My sons haircut wasn't as tight as my husband thought it should be and we were on our way to see family. That's when yelp came in handy. We found the business nearby the airport. Not only was it nearby the airport it was on the way to Houston, Texas as well. Although DJ Taylor was wrapping up his day he agreed to take our son as his last client of the day. He spent a great deal of time being very detailed in the design he put in his hair.He seems somewhat of a perfectionist eyeballing every twist and turn in the design. Often taking a step back to give it a closer look and see if there were any hairs left behind. Truly artistic! Had a great experience all in all and also walked away with a couple jugs of Kagen water. I found that to be a plus. Apparently all of his clients have access to free Kagen water. I was in the Houston area for a business trip and in need of a haircut. Now, I am very picky about getting my haircut and usually do it myself so I was hesitant to try somewhere I didn't know. This place was a little hard to find but well worth the hunt. The shop has a great atmosphere and all the barbers were Friendly and professional. On top of all that, they can cut some great hair. Would do zero stars if I could, came in really early on a Sunday 10am reason why I even went because they are open sundays, barber named D something I forgot, messed my hair all the way up, asked for a 5 and being I'm Hispanic I get my hair cut with the grain, barber never made sure EXACTLY what I wanted before he started cutting. He buzzed my long hair on top down to a 5 against the grain, needless to say it was the shortest I've ever had my hair. Have never had anyone mess my hair up like that. Had zero respect when I told him I didn't like it. Continued to try and make me pay him still and then told me "it's okay it'll grow back". It's more then a haircut, he was so disrespectful. Just got haircut from over here and can definitely say I was very disappointed, the haircut is just that.. a haircut.. but don't go here if your looking for something "crispy".. the haircut took about 10 minutes or less, seemed as if he didn't take his time. And I really felt cheated from a nice haircut. His edgers were incredibly cheap, and I feel like that's the reason why my haircut isn't where it should be. I really feel scammed, and really wouldn't recommend you going here... this haircut is worth 10$ max... and I paid 25$. But you win some and you lose some. I did not catch the gentleman that worked his magic on my son's head's name, but it was a damn good cut! Perfection!!! He took his time and made sure every piece of hair on his head was evenly cut and was laid in place. First rule of going to a new barber shop for the first time is never take the first chair that's available! I came here bc the pics on yelp look good unfortunately this wasn't the case for me. I told them my usual barber was slacking and they said they would pick up that slack. That was an understatement to say the least!!!! Wanted a medium fade ended up with a jacked up haircut. He was a cool dude and took forever so I figured he was doing a good job. I didn't look in the mirror until he was done. Cut my forehead all up aside from pushing it back and it not being straight. I even tipped him bc when I was charged I was facing away from the mirror and thought he did a good job ...worst $25 spent. Had to go home and get my wife to fix it. It's a shame read more

DJ Taber is live on the clippers. I knew of him when I was stationed in Washington but never had a chance to see what the hype was all about. He now lives in Humble, Texas so I had to pull up. Truth be told he listens to your request and gets the job done. Everyone pushed my son edge up back, and does this kind of roundish curve to it. DJ Taber knew what time it was off the muscle. Lol. He opens on Sundays and is close on Saturdays, but it's a fair exchange. The shop is a cool environment, none of that inappropriate conversations which is highly underrated when you care about what your children hear, as well as yourself. fast, precise & waved up!! i stopped in 3500 on a whim.. my barber couldn't be reached yet again and I was just tired of the run around. stopped in to 3500 and was FIRST asked by DJ what i was looking for. I told him that I was picky with my fade and he suggested Shad who was more than qualified for the cut. He even found a new look for me!! Great place for a haircut. DJ is an excellent barber especially when it comes to a nice fade. I've been here twice and had great results both times. Heads up that they only take cash so make sure that you either stop by the ATM on the way or be prepared to use the one that they have on the premises. Getting a haircut is a big deal for me. Growing up I went to my father's barbershop and once I got older I wanted to look for a barbershop of my own. I take pride in my outward appearance so I don't just trust anyone with my haircut. I've been a walk-in at a few barbershops in the Humble/1960 area and even started to frequent Master Barber HQ. They're a good shop but sometimes the quality isn't consistent, so I searched Yelp for more shops in the area. Razor Sharp 3000 was at the top of the list. I looked through their photos and decided to give them a chance this morning. I was not disappointed at all with my decision.
