We chose to get the crab hush puppies and were thrilled to see they were made fresh and hot to order and tasted phenomenal. We devoured them quickly. We decided to split the fish taco meal since it was lunch for us and it came with two large-sized tacos and cole slaw. It was a nice portion for an entree and was easily enough for both of us for a lighter lunch. Really delicious sweet tea so I took some to go. Small gift shop attached and tons of seating inside and expansive views of the water with a back wall of windows all around.

Every year we have a group dinner once during our week to ten days of sailing. For years we have gone to Captain E's for the simple but excellent food. I generally have seafood but I've also had their burgers and other dishes. When the weather is good, the outside dinning area is open and the tiki bar is serving drinks out back on the water. This place is typical of what you find in a small fishing village. Good food at a reasonable price. The service is friendly and responsive. I'll be back again next year. Give it a try. It's not that far off of Rt-13 as you go up and down the Eastern Shore of Virginia and Maryland.

The Red Queen is the coolest art gallery that I've explored in a long time! I was like a kid in a candy shop, the artwork was beautiful, full of originality and talent, as it had me oooo-ing and aaaah-ing as we explored the works of art. Many different types of artwork and fantastically creative sculptures that really delighted me. Although I am new to the town of Onancock, I will definitely be in the Red Queen on a regular basis, it's a gem!
