If only you absolutely need a VERY POOR customer experience at your own expense, you may want to engage BizACT. We had a small networking job and had the worst possible experience with the service technician, hereafter referred as "Tech".
The Tech agreed to charge $100 for the first 45 mins and a very high rate for anytime exceeding the 45-minute time. As this was a simple job it would not require more than 1 hour at best to complete. However, to suck the customer's money the following "scam techniques" were exhibited :
1. Tech walked up to his car 6 times to unload tools prior to starting the job ( time lost ~15+ minutes )
2. Between the ground level and first floor, the tech walked up and down pretending he missed to take a tool and thereby extending his time of stay. [ This genius always takes the drilling tool from one place to another without the drill bit so he can make another trip ] - ( Time lost ~10 mins )
3.Which A-team TECH would not carry a phishing rod , he brought one with him that was 1 ft long and he assembled it with 7 units to get 7 feet length for a pass-through space of 1 foot. Sounds stupid right ? Not so fast, this genius put a paper tape across the phishing rod at 7 joints of the phishing rod..... when you have a metal screw with a metal thread, who would rely on a paper tape ? Do you get it now , perfect scammer? Read on .( Time lost ~12 mins , to tape and untape)
4. This guy claimed he has the best stud finder, camera to gauge studs/water-pipes and electrical wires , but he did not put any of that to use as he was worried the job will be over soon. Forget all fancy gadgets, a 5ft or 6 ft phishing rod is a minimum that anyone needs to have with them if they really mean to be signing up for this type of gigs. Also, why would the customer pay for you to put the paper tape to connect phishing rods ? He removed the paper tapes and unscrewed those phishing rods and charged us for that time as well. ( Time lost 12 mins)
5. This Tech who claimed he runs data centers and knows all about networking, cabling , was on the phone for 17 mins to get oral confirmation from a so called 'Engineer' - on where to drill a hold to phish the cable. I think it was his partner in this scam , covering up on the other side. (Time lost 20 mins )
6. To run a cable from one place to another, he put a 7/8th hole at the target and pretended to 'try' to get the cable phished through that - vent though he knew he was supposed to cut the size of a LV gang box that would be 4inx3in hole through which we can get a better view and likely put our hand inside and grab the cable. ( time lost 7 mins )
7. Arrogant as he was, he refused to put bigger hole for his time there would end and reluctantly put a bigger hole upon our suggestion, as he feels comfortable using the small hole as he is paid by the minute for doing so.
8. The icing on the cake , was that the Tech charged us for the time he took to load all the tools back into his car, he declined to bring the car near our garage so he could walk 5 times back and forth and suck our money ( Time lost 10 mins ). After he loaded all his tools , he said he would do a visual inspection of the place and the clock was still running on $.
9. This Tech , even used my measuring tape and ladder while working on this project and when I moved his tool box that was blocking my stairs he said that he is worried about contracting COVID. He gave a new definition that he would get COVID if others touched his tools , whereas he can use our tool and nothing would happen. CDC should learn something new here.
Overall, I ended up paying 2.5 to 3 times more than what this job is worth for because this Tech was meticulously pretending to be "doing" something. A big lesson learnt to not do business with BizACT.
It is not clear if BizACT as a company is encouraging these scandalous behaviors, however, out of abundance of caution, I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone for anything as their motto is greed, dishonesty and arrogant attitude towards customers.
They clearly deserve less than 1-star for the poorest customer satisfaction and customer experience - but that is the lowest Yelp allows.
Unambiguously, this is a Thumbs Down , unless you want to live through the above pain and pay your hard earned $s for it. Bottom line, this individual thinks his time is super valuable than everyone else. May be, we all should leave him alone and not give him business. read more
