It was amazing to see people line up all dang day just to get one of those t-shirts. And even more amazing to see the team work so hard - silk-screening t-shirts is serious business - to deliver freshly made goods to the people. The lines for shirts were longer than the lines for the bar, food, and even the can. The line was constant, and they never stopped making fucking t-shirts for the people. The Mindzai crew made me TWO shirts, just because I asked semi-nicely. And they are my favorite SXSW 2k14 treasures. Mindzai produces excellent designs done by HARD-working people in the ATX. As people, they are polite and low-key, but the designs are in your total face. Or whatever you want them to be, they will do what you like. Go for the work ethic, stay for the quality.

I truly enjoyed working with Rural Rooster. Everyone was very friendly. I especially loved working with Audrey. Audrey is the person who first responded to my inquiry via email. Jonathan also helped me with my order. He provided quick responses to my inquires and questions. So kudos to him! They provided me with a good quote, they worked on my logo, provided me with proofs, the proofs sparked a new idea for my logo, they were open to using a logo created by my friend and they were quick to make the changes I requested. My kids and i are happy with the product as well, not just the service. They made the whole process easy and quick. I recommend this place.

The quality of the printing was atrocious, it was worse than using an iron on, after the first wash colors has bled and parts of the outline were actually flaking off. While I understand that our 20 shirt order is not a big order there is a standard that should be set for all orders. The only positives about the experience was that they got our order done on time (although I would have rather waited for higher quality), and they did discount the shirts after we complained. Do not fall for the slick website, the work is mediocre. Do as I will do next year and find a different shop.

She also anticipated a hundred little thing that I never would have thought of to make my site smoother and prettier, just 'cause she's not happy until every detail is just right. On top of it all, six months later, she's continued to answer my random questions and make little tweaks and not so little upgrades to my site, so I was never left with a product that looked good right after it was designed but that I couldn't update or manage on my own. And she's designed some amazingly beautiful posters and promotional materials for the store, all with similarly stellar results.
