    Brandy and Jimlet drink.

It was popular and dark. Very loud, due to volume of people. Seated between two groups of five people (each) so it was very hard to hear one another as it was just 2 of us. We would have had to yell over the two groups on each side of us, to hear one another so we text for the first 20 min. Ordered and had our ONE drink and left. While we "enjoyed" our drink the female group on one side discussed "going down on another" girl on a "hot hook up" and the other group on the other side were sharing a story about "old man penis in my face so I had to suck him off".... It was NOT what we expected. Not shocked, but it was t pleasant, nor classy, by any means. The beverages were served quickly (drinks were a 4 star)--so that was a plus (because we were able to leave swiftly as well). Drinks are $15-30 each.

Bitter & Pour might have been the coolest speakeasy/cocktail lounge experience I have ever experienced. It was so fun locating the riddle to get the clue, and then gaining access. Once inside, you are definitely transported to a different time and a complete vibe. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about spirits and cocktails, they were accommodating for my wheelchair, and they are exceptionally talented when it comes to making these drinks. They were unique, but familiar cocktails and with as many options as they had, there is certainly something for everyone. It definitely seems like this is a place that would get really busy, so there might be a wait or you might have to try to come back. No matter the case, it is well worth it if you enjoy a great experience and a delicious drink.

Super cool place, gotta love a speakeasy and fun craft cocktails. Be prepared to solve the riddle to enter! My friends really wanted dessert so they went to pick up dessert near by while two of us sat and ordered our drinks. I loved the unique flavor combinations. I ordered the Dave Berry which had toasted rosemary, walnut, buffalo trace and blackberry cordial. I loved the smoky taste it's fun to try something different. Love the menu design as well with the drink icons! Great place to stop at for an after dinner night cap

The new roof top on 7th floor (above Terza) is a calm wonderful venue with good views for a "city bar". Drink selection is a little smaller, easier to choose, and the layout of the space is way better than "Levetta" was back then. Service and drinks are great. Call "Safe Ride" for a secure ride home if needed.

I have to say they do a pretty darn good job with their drinks. They have a couple different old fashions. Both are fabulous. Cute fun little place to grab a nightcap or meet up a friends or even a date. it's a very intimate unique place. when you walk down the stairs, no you're not in the Wrong place, read the riddle and do what it states its super easy and the door will open. Kinda like an abracadabra.

Neat place! Old style speakeasy, complete with secret entrance. Look for the riddle outside the door, and complete the task to gain entry. Lively place, though mot much for private seating or to bring a large group. Friendly wait staff and bartenders, knowledgeable about the menu. Lots of creative cocktails on the menu. The "First World Problem Solver" is my favorite. Reminiscent of a good Old Fashioned.

Another bar with great drinks, been there done that. Wait, it's in a hidden basement with a hidden door?! I'm so in! Love the vibe of this place and the hidden entrance. But I also love that the drinks are so amazing. I got the Rich Uncle cocktail. It's pricey because of the Whistle Pig 15 year but it was worth it. A definite go to when we are in Rochester!

My mom and I were just wandering aimlessly when random passerby's encouraged us to check out this speakeasy. They were even kind enough to instruct us on pushing the cash register in to open the door. It's a cool effect, but when the book shelf swings open you find that it's a metal fire door on the other side. Look, I like having a clearly marked exit in the case of an emergency just as much as the next gal, but this initial tarnish on the veneer of Bitter & Pour foreshadowed our experience with the place. We walked in and thought, yeah, the ambiance is pretty cool. Dark wood paneling and diffused lighting. It feels upscale and secluded. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by a friendly bartender. I asked her if she had a favorite cocktail she was slinging and she suggested the Lightning Joose. She described it as citrusy but not too sweet. I was like, okay! When the drink came in a shade of neon green I immediately regretted my decision. A couple sips in and I could not drink anymore. It was sickly sweet with an aftertaste akin to cough syrup. Luckily, the bartender was cool and didn't charge me for it when I said I couldn't drink it. I then opted for the Avion de Papel. My husband and I make these at home and I was intrigued that their's uses mezcal. Well, it was very watery and the ingredients weren't mixed together very well. It just was not a well made cocktail. I dunno, maybe 8 PM on a Wednesday isn't the prime time to come here. I'd be up to give it another chance. It just looked great on the surface and then was a bit of a letdown.

Came here after my fiancés birthday dinner. Found this place on Yelp last minute and was only a few minutes away but it was the icing on top of the cake for the night! We haven't been able to find a true speak easy in so long and boy did this place hit the mark!! It was super busy but all the employees did excellent at being tentative and social. Loving this place as a new place for date nights !

This place is amazing!(A recent article had it at 13th best speakeasy in the U.S.). It's a smaller space, not too dark. We sat at the bar as it was fairly busy for early evening(5ish) and there was a larger party(birthday?) occupying most of the tables. Round 1 after being greeted at the bar and surveying the menu I settled on the Yeah Buddy! because of the jalapeño(could have had more spice). It was delicious, I would have ordered another, but we had limited time and stomach space. My wife ordered the Brienne of Tarth. It was light, lemony and refreshing...hard to beat on a warm summer day. Round 2 brought me a glass of Clase Azul tequila and my wife the Low Expectation((lemongrass/lime, lavender or blackberry G&T) she chose blackberry). For those who don't like tequila, this was offered to me on the rocks or neat and with salt and lime...it needed nothing. It is some of the best plain alcohol I've tasted, so smooth and light it's hard to imagine it in a cocktail. I'm so glad we splurged on it. My wife's gin and tonic was one of the best if not the best we've had, a house made tonic just made it perfect. While we chatted with each other and the staff we noticed the house made cordials in front of us and asked if we could try one that caught our eye. We were obliged with a small sample of the habañero cordial...it was awesome. The barkeeper even explained how it was made...now we have a new fun thing to try at home. We highly recommend you visit and visit again as we are going to do so!

You have to come check out this place if you're interested in sipping and talking in an intimate setting with friends or on a date. You have to solve a puzzle to be able to open the door. Once in, you choose where you want to sit. People who work there are knowledgeable and they help you with your choices. Their specialties are cocktails so you can't go wrong no matter what drink you choose. They make their crystal clear ice, and they cut and brand it.

SPEAKEASY yes, Pleasy!! If you figure out the riddle the door opens and you walk into an underground bar. The lighting sets the mood for this fun bar. There is a purple cove with an L shape couch for about 8 guests that is fun! I call it Erotic City!! The cocktails are a drinkable ART. I always sit at the bar if I can so I can feel the experience. The Mixologist are friendly but focused. They know their bitters like a science. I love the Peacock glass. This bar gets busy on Saturday evening and they are closed sundays. Go check them out!! You will enjoy the atmosphere. We tried the following drinks.. sazerac rye whiskey| cognac| absinthe |bitters|sugar|lemon peel peacock tease ten to one rum | clooster bitter | kiwi | coconut | lime | fresh pineapple the moulin rouge plymouth gin | elderflower | yellow chartreuse | lemon | strawberry

Pretty awesome speak easy. I absolutely love the entrance!!! There's a clue on how to get in, if you don't figure it out, may be you don't belong. The drinks were amazing as well. Actually the $30 old fashioned was worth it. Plenty of seating , we didn't med a reservation, Jim not sure if they even take them. When I'm Rochester, this is going to be a regular stop.

I think it was perfect during happy hour and then could turn off when the dancing started. Food: The jerk chicken egg rolls were huge and had great flavor. Also enjoyed the little sliders. The meat on the skewers was a super weird texture like almost a mushy bite maybe it was like a vegan meat I wasn't sure. The service at the bar was a bit slow at times there was two back there but the staff worked really hard at the end as the party went late and the staff was awesome cleaning up around us til the last minute so thanks for that!!! I liked the rum punch I had and the back space looked small but still fit a Photo Booth, the food table and dj table

We went back today and while it was still good, definitely wasn't as good as it was last time. The jerk chicken plate removed the beans, changed the rice, and got rid of the sauce so it wasn't as good though it was a bit less dry than last time. They also removed the Ropa Vieja from the menu which was our favorite. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and was not impressed. The fries with it were good. The drinks were still great. Service was friendly but slow (drinks, food, and waitress all slow). Another in our party got the blackened salmon which was really good. Unfortunately, I was so nervous they would remove or change the menu to be worse, which is a common theme I've noticed with 4 different restaurants by these owners now, so I was so bummed to see that's exactly what happened. Such a cool vibe, great drinks, and a really cool new patio - but the food needs a bit of work - bring back the Ropa Vieja and the better jerk chicken!
