The staff are attentive enough and when we had dinner they worked well considering that there were a number of other 'larger' groups eating and ordering at the same time. There are a lot of options on the menu, however, as pointed out by a previous review considering the options there are only 2 vegetarian options and no Gluten Free options. After heading up to the counter to order your meal and waiting for it to be served (not too long a wait) we all tucked into what appeared to be a delicious meal. I ordered the chicken parma. While the plate had a tasty salad and chips and the chicken schnitzel was cooked fine it was bland. I don't usually add salt and pepper but this really needed it. The ham used was shredded generic pizza ham and the tomato sauce came from a bottle and was also probably pizza sauce. Fine for a pub meal but had Much Much better from other pubs.

The medium rare steak was cooked perfectly, tasted amazing as well. This place definitely doesn't deserve such a low rating. Talk about the price, the steak was only $20 each, but it was only for Monday nights and the cheesy garlic bread was $14. Reasonable price for steak these days. What a surprise it was to find such a place slap bang buried in the heart of Inala. No wonder it is nicknamed Inala's hidden gem. I understand the Club itself is now over 60 years old, starting from a tin shed by a bunch of fishermen to what it is today, a modern professionally run fully licensed facility. Nice cosy well presented premises, great friendly staff and quite reasonably priced quality food and drink and I had no difficulty getting in either. I will certainly will be back next time I come to Brisbane, I had a great experience. Well done people.

The wine list is also quite extensive so matching the right wine with your food is quite easy even for those who are not that familiar with wines. Although G's is primarily a wine bar they do cater for everyone as they have a fully functioning licensed bar as well. The service is quite good and the staff is friendly and although they are students they have a very professional work ethic. The prices are a little bit more than the norm for "student" meals but it is well worth it. G's proves very popular for lunch, this might be slightly attributed to the fact that they are only open for lunch and breakfast however.

We did ask for mashed potatoes instead of the salad, but they gave us both. Everything was delicious! The mashed potatoes are probably the best I've had! The Uni bar and Function Center is the perfect place for students who attend Griffith University at…read moreits Nathan campus. Although it's convenient for them the Uni Bar and Function Center is not restricted to students as it opens its doors to anyone. One of its main features is the outside deck which proves popular with every one as it is perched above the ground surrounded by the Thoohey Forest. The deck also has a ping pong table and on Fridays seconds as a stage for an acoustic music set. There are TVs throughout the bar so is a great place to catch sporting events or just shoot pool. On Tuesday night the bar stays open until midnight normally hosting a range of student parties and promos. The food served is good and the lunch menu is reasonably priced with a good selection ranging from salads to burgers to pastas. They can also provide a range of food and drinks if you decide to have a function there. They also block off part of the bar so you have privacy for your party or conference. The only downfall of the Uni Bar is that it closes at 5pm most days and this often does not work for the audience that they are trying to target. Later closing times would definitely help the Uni Bar and Function Center.
