It's been a couple of years…read moresince I last had dinner here and while it has a number of things in it's favour, 1) It's clean, neat and tidy and 2) It's pretty family friendly (Kids 'play' room, plenty of parking) I've definitely had better food, I've had worse but I've had better. The staff are attentive enough and when we had dinner they worked well considering that there were a number of other 'larger' groups eating and ordering at the same time. There are a lot of options on the menu, however, as pointed out by a previous review considering the options there are only 2 vegetarian options and no Gluten Free options. After heading up to the counter to order your meal and waiting for it to be served (not too long a wait) we all tucked into what appeared to be a delicious meal. I ordered the chicken parma. While the plate had a tasty salad and chips and the chicken schnitzel was cooked fine it was bland. I don't usually add salt and pepper but this really needed it. The ham used was shredded generic pizza ham and the tomato sauce came from a bottle and was also probably pizza sauce. Fine for a pub meal but had Much Much better from other pubs.

Ordered a medium well done steak but received a rare and bloody steak. Sent it back to the kitchen where the apathetic cooks returned it to me still red and bloody on the inside. Additionally I ordered pepper sauce, which arrived with mushroom in it, (I am allergic to mushroom). They replaced the pepper sauce, by which time I had finished eating the terrible meal, the sauce that was delivered to my table was stone cold. To add insult to injury it took more than an hour for my meal to be delivered. The bar staff and waiting staff were excellent however, let down sadly by the quality of the food being delivered from the kitchen.

It's a club that is restricted to people who have served in the police or fire or military and/or belong to a club that has a reciprocal relationship with this club. It has liquor and slot machines (in Australia they call them "pokies") as well as food and TV. My buddy Steve (former cop) and I grabbed some food and watched the end of a one-day cricket match (my first full match I watched!). The demographics trend very high (lots of old people) but still very friendly and decent food.

Simple with excellent food. Great new place (well it must have been here now for at least 6…read moremonths), casual and friendly. They usually don't take reservations, but with three seating areas, including an outside courtyard, there is a lot more space than it initially looks like. Their burgers are amazing, they all come with a small portion of fries. My friends love the pulled pork, but the fish tacos are my personal favourite. They also have some nice sharing platters! The only disappointment were the Harissa balls, which were very very dry. Mulled wine in winter, cider and beer in summer for us. Definitely my new regular for my Brisbane trips.

The oysters were to die for, wish we ordered more! My wife had the Vegetarian Singapore Noodles and I treated myself to the big 400g rump and we were blown away with how quick the meals arrived at our table without substituting on quality.
