I'd also recommend the peanut butter frosting on literally anything. Tina, the owner, also has incredible design work for any cakes or special occasions. Tina is very busy so I'd be sure to double check with her on logistics just to make sure everything is good and squared away - especially if you book her far in advance (which might be good because she can book up quickly during busy seasons). The chocolate cake was the consistency and quality of any package cake that you buy from a box. I was expecting gooey delicious moist incredible chocolate cake. The frosting was not like the butter cream. I am used to it. It was a lighter frosting and perhaps it was butter cream but I can't be sure. The filling was not custard. It was the same frosting is on the outside of the cake. The royal icing decorations were not edible. And there was no merry Christmas written across the cake. When I questioned her about the filling she went in the back of the store and I guess she pretended to look at something and came out, so Yep vanilla just like the picture. I remember the conversation verbatim plus I wrote down my own notes. And when I got home, sure enough, it was supposed to be buttercream frosting And custard filling.
