We recently purchased a home and needed a move-in clean to prepare our house as well as a move-out clean for the home we were renting. Rebecca & Stella did our move-in clean. They both arrived early and prepared for the job. They were friendly and courteous and went did a walk through before cleaning. They did a thorough job in cleaning the house from top to bottom including inside drawers and cupboards. They reviewed areas that had flaws they found while cleaning and even provided tips on cleaning our new floors! In response to the company comments to my post: 1) The first cleaning the team was actually sent to the wrong address by the company, as that was confirmed to me over the phone and on the text she sent me while I was trying to assist them in finding my home. I even stayed on the phone with her while the team was trying to be redirected to my home. I also stood in my "alley access driveway" and placed a large planter in front of the garage door and texted that photo to them so the team could identify and find the home. I was told "by the team" when they arrived they had gone to the wrong address and given the wrong address by the company. (I have the text from the company that the wrong address was given to the team by the company) I never insinuated anyone was ill equipped to find my home. That never happened. They were given the wrong address by the company. 2) The first 2 cleanings were not a bad experience for them , as they returned a 3rd time. The first 2 cleanings had no issues, no one was ever spoken to rudely by me or anyone in my home. 3) The 3rd cleaning was a miss as I wrote in my review, due to that particular team member ignoring me when I was attempting to show her a different outlet to use. Again she never removed her earbuds so I assumed she could not hear me ... (there was no ranting or raving, no raised voices) When she walked away from me while I was still talking to her and really did flutter her lashes at me, (I realized then ...that she could hear me and was just being rude) and left me standing there while I was still talking to her, I asked her name ( she heard that) and I asked the team lead if I could speak with her so I could explain what had just occurred and that I would like that team member to leave my home as she was very rude to me in my home. The remaining team members all apologized for what had happened and they were as surprised as I was that they were all asked to leave by the company Due to one bad apple on the team. 4) And the full cleaning was not almost completed as the company responded in the review....the First team member arrived and then the others arrived about 20 minutes later. They were all here 45 minutes... total... including the time they pulled up in the car, unloaded, cleaned and then loaded and left. The cleaning for the 5000 sq ft home was not almost completed in 45 minutes as the company review is claiming. The comments from the company regarding my review were inaccurate and I have been falsely accused of something that did not happen. An apology from the company for the rude behavior on the part of the team member who was so very rude to me while working in my home was never addressed. Instead the company has accused me of things that just never happened. And the comment that the team members were mistreated in my home is also inaccurate and false. Had that been the case, the company would never had returned to my home a 2nd and 3rd time. read more

I started using this service when I was working full-time and in school full-time - they were a god send! Because they did so great while I was in school, I've continued their services even after I've graduated. They're great at keeping up with special requests/notes and my cats never seem too bothered by them. They keep a copy of my key so I don't have to be home when they come over - so nice to come home to a clean apartment! Some of my "special requests" are to not put my trash outside (we have valet in my complex, but it can only be out during a certain timeframe) - to leave closet doors open for my cats so the sneaky little suckers don't get locked in - to make my bed from sheets in the dryer (which they'll also put the sheets from the washer to the dryer to then make the bed before they leave - so amazing!) They also leave cute notes occasionally and a lot of times it's something silly about one of my cats! Great cleaning crew with an extra special human touch!! :) read more

Wow! We just had our first deep clean and my house looked so good I almost cried when I got home. I could spend all day cleaning and still not have it turn out as well. We used A Bit of Bliss for a deep cleaning. They did a great job cleaning our house! Our biggest concern was our dogs being in the way. Our doggie daycare didn't work out at the last minute so my husband came home to make sure the dogs were outside when the workers came. Turns out, he was late and the ladies took care of the dogs perfectly. They let them outside and said the dogs were not a problem at all. That was a huge relief! I contacted them for a "deep cleaning." I was recovering from a long lasting case of mono. Combine that with three kids and I had neglected the deep cleaning kind of stuff around the house. They sent out three women to my house. I requested a "green cleaning." The seemed uninformed of this (and it was listed on the website as an option) and they tried to talk me out of it, but I insisted and they agreed. I had all the kids and guests at the house, so I had them clean one room and then we all hid out in there until it was done. When they left, I realized they did not take the trash out, sweep or mop the kitchen or bathrooms. Upon closer inspection, I realized that that they did not do about half of the items on the list, wiping baseboards, kitchen cabinets etc. The kitchen counters had crumbs on it. The sinks in the kitchen and the bathrooms were dirty. I contacted the owner, who apologized and sent someone out the next day. I ran out to run an errand and came back to find that my house reeked of bleach. So no green cleaning. I asked the (very nice) woman to stop using bleach in my home, and she did, but the reason I wanted a green cleaning is because bleach and other chemicals are migraine triggers for me. The damage was done, I had a terrible migraine that night. Again, the woman was kind and she did a much better job that the people who came before, but it wasn't what I paid for. And it was a lot of money. $165. In the end, I never did get everything on the original list they sent me done and I would have rather paid a babysitter and cleaned it well myself. The owner did seem very kind and the woman she sent out the second time was super nice and did a good job with the time she had, but I did not get what I wanted out of the situation. read more

I hired Bit A Bliss to clean my house for my youngest daughter's high school graduation party. I bought a Groupon and my expectations were low. That daughter is now a senior in college, I'm still using Bliss and my expectations have soared. In the three plus years I've been using them, I have had maybe five of their team members clean my home - that illustrates how well they are able to retain good talent. Not only do they do everything on their check list proficiently they are willing to do extras and sometimes at no additional cost. For instance, in my home I have two huge glass doors and when I asked Scarlette to clean those along with my other services, she said they would add that for no additional cost. That's no guarantee that you'll get the same deal! I take good care of their staff (tips) and I'm flexible with my scheduling. All this to say, I've been able to build and sustain a great relationship with Bliss - they know the importance of happy customers. Scarlette and Jennifer are always so accommodating and professional. The few times that I've had a concern, they have addressed it immediately. I trust their team explicitly and am very rarely home when they come. One time, I got a call from Jen that their team member had accidentally broken a glass and by the time I got home, the glass had been replaced. Recently, I forgot to put out a set of sheets and was amazed when I got home, that my favorite Bliss associate had folded the laundry in my dryer, transferred my sheets from the washer to the dryer, dried the sheets, and then placed them on the bed. Come on! That is an amazing service and it wildly exceeded all of my expectations. If you don't have someone cleaning your house regularly and you can afford to do that, you should definitely hire it done. I can't recommend Bliss highly enough to really do them justice. After the last experience with Bit A Bliss, the owner contacted me and was apologetic about the quality of service I had received. She scheduled to clean my place again for free. The second time around was much better! The place was really scrubbed clean. Everything was dusted, swept, mopped, polished, vacuumed etc. The people who came to clean were very professional. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because the bed was made sloppily. The comforter was put on crooked and the blankets underneath were not smoothed out.
