When you meet new faces that become friends, and you're in a foreign town in an area that's an obvious hot spot - aperitivo is a perfect ice breaker. This place is unique (for me at least). It's a coffee and liquor bar in one; a concept that Starbucks is slowly picking up worldwide.
With whatever beverage order you choose, the appetizers are served with it. That's the fun part. It includes finger foods, chips, crackers, olives... things we'd call knick knacks.
I tried a Cafe alla Nocciola. They knew I'd love it. It was like a rich hot pudding coffee dessert. Wow! It's the tiniest coffee I've had ever - I need about four more :P
I love the interior of this cafe. There is a smaller upstairs seating section. It appears a good place for laptop chill spot. Or nice for coffee and a book. Art is displayed on the walls. Actually even the bar has its own flare.
Upstairs is where the restrooms are located. A worker hands you a couple paper towels for drying your hands, and several folds of toilet paper. Tip them! Tips are not generally accepted and one should make sure you receive the correct change. However there is a service type here.
Fancy you might think, but super cool. read more
