Came here with a group of 5 while staying at the nearby Marquis Reforma. It seemed a bit strange to go out for French food while in Mexico, but this restaurant (and it's sister restaurant next door) has good reviews, took reservations, and was within walking distance.
The staff were extremely nice and gave us the wifi password so we could use google translate the menu, and we had the option of ordering from both restaurants (they are connected by their shared kitchen in the middle). They have a good selection of local Mexican craft beers as well as a number of imports, especially Belgian wheats.
We started with their delicious warm, crusty rolls and compound butter, and then shared three appetizers: fondue, goat cheese tart, and something delicious with potatoes, cheese, and bacon. All were delicious!
We were pretty full after this, so decided to share two entrees, steak au poivre and a salmon dish. The steak was ordered medium but came out closer to rare. I didn't mind, but it bothered some of my table mates. The salmon was actually pretty well done, but the sauce it came with was great.
One of the staff members also gave us a recommendation for a taco stand, where I ate the best al pastor of my life two days later. I would go back to both places if I was back in Mexico City! read more
