I had heard service of food and wine was so efficient that we decided to play the "order as we go" game and was not disappointed. A lot of our ordering was done based on what the waitress recommended and I was surprised that things which sounded not bad were outstandingly good - probably due to the freshness of produce. My recommendations? - Order wine by the glass, there is plenty of it and you can pair your wines with the share plates. - Get the Kingfish sashimi in coconut milk with coriander and the pepper crusted barramundi wings, soy, chilli, shallot dressing as minimum for starters. - Get Blue Swimmer Crab Parpadelle. It is better than my Italian in-laws make being light, melt in your mouth strands of joy and the crab wasn't overloaded in the dish nor was it sparsely disappointing. You probably won't feel like sharing that dish though! Every dish is made to share, so you don't end up fighting over 3 arancini balls nor wondering where the rest of the meal is. The dishes are fresh, quick and bit sized, this is a wonderful place to spend time in on a winters evening with a cosy, candle lit atmosphere suitable for a group of sharing, caring friends.

Their menu caters to the sharers amoungst us with a small and large option on pretty much everything. We ordered 4-5 sharing small options and were completely stuffed by the end. My favoutrite......the dumplings......or maybe the thai beef salad....... Each dish was more delicious than the last. The wine list didn't have alot of wines I knew as Im a big fan of SA wines but with advice from staff we chose the French rose. Oh my was it good. I highly highly highly recommend a visit to this beautifully set out small restaurant.

I read all of the amazing reviews on Yelp and was convinced to place it in my bookmarks of places to try! Entry into this café is a little surprising. It doesn't look that flash from outside, but when you walk in it is cleverly decorated with all sorts of quirky art. The service is really friendly and inviting. The staff obviously love working there as they are quite chirpy. After having a look at the menu, I could not go past the opportunity to try the soup of the day. Pumpkin soup has always been one of my favs and it is one that is really comforting on a cold day. The pumpkin soup was served with some lovely toasted bread and butter. It smelt divine when it arrived in front of me. The taste was creamy with a slight chilli flavour. They must have used some sort of Moroccan spices? I think it was a little bit salty for my palate, but it was really satisfying and filling. Courtyard out the back is really cute. I think it is the perfect destination for ladies in the area to catch up with their girlfriends for lunch and coffee. I will return to try other items on their menu as it seems to be very popular in the Yelp community.

The outside courtyard has a french provincial feel that I love and on a nice day is an easy place to grab a magazine or a book and lose a few hours while. I could easily become a regular here!

Nestled in the quiet block of Grenfell St. just steps from Rymill Park this gem is quite abuzz with crepe making energy; there are two types gallettes (savory) and sweet to choose from. we chose gallettes to share, one La Traditionelle ($11.5: ham, egg sunny side up, and swiss cheese) and one Saint Malo ($14.5: ham, sautéed mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, basil, and olive oil). You can ask for any egg preparation, I chose scrambled. Opened for long hours each day they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The tiny bistro is a powerhouse of excellent, friendly customer service. It is adequately staffed with friendly counter help who care about your dining experience. The three times I have been there in the last month indicates consistent excellence and quick, though not hurried service. There are well prepared croissants (prepared in site daily) in addition to an authentic pain au chocolate. I plan to eat my way across their dessert case and will keep you posted on my progress. TWO THUMB UP - this is a 'must do' destination, especially when in need of respite from the day-to-day stresses of life. Treat yourself to a French stay-cation without leaving the CBD.

The service was cheerful and snappy and the passing life in Ebenezer Place was lively, lots of people seeming to know each other. There was a lot of meeting and greeting around the tiny restaurant entrance. Waiters politely dodged the impediments. Our snails came with proper escargot tongs in the most exquisite garlic and herb butter. The toasty French bread was a bit too crisp to soak up the butter but it was just as well. My friend had Croque Monsieur which was rich and wicked, bechamel sauce and cheese and a fried egg on top . He simply wolfed it down. My boned and butterflied trout with green beans took longer to eat and every morsel was a joy. The trout was nicely charcoal-seared on the skin side and very lightly cooked on top. The tastes and textures sang together in a light buttery sauce from the beans which were not too firm but just right. It was best trout I have ever had and I am still purring with pleasure.

Such a lovely accent. * Design and presentation of the café is so different in a unique way, perfect for Adelaide. Interesting! * Large selection of meals to choose from. * Large portion size, there should be a sign of guarantee that you will not leave with an empty stomach! * Service was fast & sweet. And sandwiches are AMAZING! I mean when I think about ordering a sandwich outside of home, I think well what's the point really? But arriving at Hey Jupiter and reading the reviews about their sandwiches, made me grab one anyway. I grabbed the Poached Free Range Chicken Breast which should have gave myself some time to breath whilst stuffing it down my mouth! A great combination of flavours and amazing sauces, was impress with the outcome and portion size. I've visited Hey Jupiter twice already and I can only think I'm going to be visiting much more. Thank you for a delicious sandwich experience Jupiter, see you soon!

This is a place I like to take my uni friends, little sister and nanna for a treat. This little gem consistently serves up scrumptious crepes, with ice-cream on top that is to die for. The service is always friendly, the staff are quick to whip up your coffees and then proceed with your crepes within 10 minutes usually. Which is great if you're up for a quick eat before going to see a movie! prices are around $9-12, a big tick for poor students and what you would expect for a filling dessert. While the experience is always good, my only grievance is that their tables are way too small. If you're having crepes, coffee and attempting to seat three people at a table, you will find yourself struggling which is a shame. Despite this, I still recommend it, I have a mean sweet-tooth and I've tried every sweet crepe option they have, all are fabulous and their great coffee is a bonus!

We were lucky to have fluked the last table for two on a night where everywhere else was jam packed, had great waiters who were there each time the water glass was close to empty and who were genuinely interested in our dining experience throughout, were there whenever we needed, but were also not invasive! Went for the duck rillete and the pork meatballs in blue cheese sauce for starters (starters begin from around $5-15) with a whole selection of other things catching my eye that I must try next time! And for mains I got the steak with fries as I was feeling like something really earthy and fulfilling. The food was absolutely stunning, paired with a lovely Spanish Alicante bouschet/mataro for drinks I couldn't have been more happy come the end of the service. For under $60 each my friend and I were able to indulge in starters, a main course (he got the pork belly-which was also amazing) and a great bottle of wine, and left with full stomachs and a willingness to tell whoever would listen about this place! Would be an awesome restaurant to bring a first date, super impressed, we will be back!

Though there was no specific mention of spirits and mixers, on asking for a G&T I was given an option of 3 (possibly more, I stopped them when they named my preferred) gins. We took the shared plate option. Two days later (on writing the review) I can't remember the details, but what I can remember is that non of them were standard versions of tapas, they all had a unique twist, particularly the pork and prawn. Desert was chocolate bliss, that's all I can remember. The bliss. Serving time was not memorable one way or another. Though they were informed, and cheerful. Some of these included grilled prawns with a mango salsa, quails and croquettes with winter vegetables. Each plate had been carefully thought of and each ingredient had deserved its place. We then had mains after this, yes we were a little full as they had even brought us bread with olive oil ( olive oil was from Marino Meat & Food Store in the Central Markets).
