Very well seasoned and not at all bland. I go most often for lunch and they have an abbreviated lunch menu which changes and they will also let you order off the full menu which is nice. Not a lot of German restaurants let you order from the full menu during lunch hours. The only downside is that you can't pay in debit card. So have euros with you when you go.

There was a festival on-going at the time as well so the roads were blocked but we drive around them anyway. There used to be a German bowling alley there as well. Now closed but the gasthaus is still there. Worth the effort to go. The pizza is good as well. Lots of carry out for pizza. Lots of phone orders coming in. Traffic was light and service was good. The Pils was cold and good. Cold is relative here though since beer is just slightly cooler than room temp but it's brewed to be drank that way.
